5 Stars – A Tuscan Dream Come True! Our stay at Francesco’s private resort-style retreat in the hills of Tuscany was absolutely magical. The location is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect escape into the beauty of the Italian countryside. The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. This place is a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany!

Absolutely beautiful apartment right in the centre of Lucca. Lucia was a wonderful host, and provided excellent recommendations for wineries and shopping! The kitchen has everything you need. We like to cook a couple of meals in and the kitchen was beautifully equipped with very nice pots and pans etc. It was also fantastic that she had olive oil, salt and pepper and other spices. Super comfy bed and bedding. This has been our favourite Airbnb to stay in, we were so comfortable and felt right at home. Thank you Lucia for your fabulous hospitality!! We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was beautiful! The view from the balcony (and bedroom window and shower window) is absolutely breathtaking. Sitting on the balcony and taking it in was some of our favorite parts of the stay. Everything was clean and decorated so nicely, plus their espresso machine and little cookies were great to wake up with. Location is a bit far walking distance from the center of the city, and it is uphill on the way back, but we personally loved it because it kept us on our feet during our travels and the peaceful neighborhood is worth the walk because it is so quiet and private at night. It’s right across the street from Galileo’s original home! Highly recommend this apartment :)

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Florence! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and had that authentic Italian charm you dream about—wooden beams, warm terracotta floors, and a tiny Juliet balcony overlooking the rooftops. Pure magic. The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the Duomo, the Uffizi, and the Ponte Vecchio. Yet somehow, it felt tucked away and peaceful, like a local secret. We could pop out for a morning espresso and be back before the croissants cooled down. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on where to eat like a Florentine (pro tip: skip the tourist traps near the piazzas and follow their suggestions—you won’t regret it!). They even left us a bottle of local wine as a welcome gift. Grazie mille! If you’re visiting Florence and want a place that makes you feel like you live there—not just staying there—this is it. Loved the pool and garden! Host was very respinsive. If hot outside, make sure to learn public transportation or use taxi. If nice out, it would be a beautiful walk into the city for meals/activities.

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

We had a great time at Sara’s place, she welcomed us in with some eggs from the hens that they keep in the garden. There’s lots of attractions for kids, like chickens, 2 donkeys and some furry friends, a playground that my daughter really enjoyed playing in and balls and toys. The apartment is beautiful, the grounds are so peaceful and the view is spectacular. There’s quite a bit to do within 30 minutes drive. I wish we could stay longer. I’d like to visit again in the summer 😍

Niccolo was so helpful with my check in process and patient with my lag from the airport/T2, and I was very grateful he helped me with my bag! The entire process was super smooth and the space itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Communication (not even needed after check in) was great and I had a wonderful time. It's quieter than a lot of more popular areas, but still extremely accessible. I love walking and everything was within 15-20 minutes, with San Miniato and Piazzale Michelangelo being a comfortable ~30 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again, Aurora and her team are great and made my stay in Florence the best!

Great apartment. Great location. A little disappointing to go outside and see the outdoor area dusty and not set up for guests. The outdoor space had empty pots and non of the decorations from the photos, BUT the lush garden around and at the top of the stairs was really lovely, and made up for it. The kitchen had what you need, and what was lacking, the host was quick to remedy. I would recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay at Jacopo's place, true paradise! Jacopo is a masterhost and we felt very welcome. The bed is great and we had a bbq in the wonderful garden, very peacefull Tuscan vibes. The cats also roam the garden and are very nice. It is not far from Pisa, about 30 min by car. We recommend this airbnb to everyone! :)

My parents stayed at Franco’s for the second time and loved it again. Franco gave great recommendations for the area and events that were taking place at the time. The accommodation was very clean, and the location is simply beautiful. You have everything you need, and it’s a perfect starting point for activities. Would highly recommend it. This apartment in the heart of Florence is a true gem. It’s spacious, comfortable, and modern, yet still retains its historic charm. The location is simply dreamlike, with the widow view and the proximity to The Accademia being the highlight. Having the Accademia right in front of the window was priceless. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked and discreet. Conveniently located, restaurants, shops, and a supermarket are just a short walk away. The communication was easy and fast, and Luca was friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a perfect apartment in an ideal location. I highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Florence. Thank you so much for hosting! 🤍

Apartment as described. Very clean and comfortable. The center is a 10-minute walk away. Always top-notch and very kind communication. When I return to Florence, if there is the possibility, I will return to this apartment.

After another Airbnb mishap, Gianluca was so accommodating to allow to book and check in late last minute. He even met us there personally to be sure we got in okay. He even had the fold out couch ready with linens and provided a few breakfast items. The place was better than we’d hoped, location was fantastic, updated and perfectly clean! We would absolutely stay here again. This place will be one of the highlights of our trip!

Excellent location and beautiful apartment. Easy to get in self-check in and good communication with the host. Great kitchen, stocked with all the hardware you need. Common area was comfortable for the 4 of us. The view is amazing. Balconies on the water with close up views of Ponte Vecchio. Definitely one of the best places we've stayed in a 20 day trip in several cities.

From booking to checking out, things could not have been smoother. Everything was as described and Alessandra was a very responsive and reasonable host. The area was also fantastic- 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and the restaurants and bars in the small Piazza five minutes’ walk away were excellent. Hope to return soon!

The accommodation is in a large family building perched on a hill and offers a splendid view of the Tuscan landscape. The interior matches the photos perfectly. We find many trinkets, paintings, souvenirs of all kinds that evoke the generations that have succeeded each other in this beautiful house. The pool is exceptionally large and perfect after a day of discovery. Too bad there's no air conditioning, but Antiionetta provided 2 welcome fans. The car can be parked in the courtyard.
