Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Champagne-Ardenne

Great location in Hautvillers. A very quiet and pretty village. We used chatGPT to suggest a 1.30-2hr walk around the vineyards which was great. Lots of small champagne makers - make sure to book a tour. Everyone was friendly. Parking is available but would recommend for a small car, very easy to drop off outside though so no problem, we parked in the village car park 1 min walk away.

We had a lovely—if brief—stay here. The location is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, with a stunning private garden where we cooked and ate dinner, soaking up the last rays of sunshine. Just across the road, we wandered into the small cemetery and were moved to find so many Commonwealth war graves from WWI—sobering and poignant. The bed felt a little firm at first, but it turned out to be incredibly comfortable—we both had a wonderful night’s sleep. A charming, restful stop in a truly special place. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Awenne, a beautiful area with numerous walks nearby. We were warmly welcomed and had a pleasant stay in the house. The spacious garden and the sunny terrace is an absolute added value.

We spent wonderful last vacation days in this nice cottage! Emmanuelle was incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the cottage was fully equipped. A big plus: the dishwasher. The shower was also surprisingly nice – good jet. The swimming pool was really enjoyable, especially on a warm, sunny day. We were able to relax in the garden, have a drink, barbecue and enjoy the peace and quiet around us. Also top in terms of location: the supermarket and a good bakery are only 4 minutes away, so everything is within reach. In short: a comfortable, complete and quiet stay. We would love to come back here again! 🌞

Anne was very responsive and had great tips for our stay. Lots of great restaurants and tasting ideas. We we’re celebrating or anniversary and Anne left us a bottle of champagne which was much appreciated. Great place to stay and enjoy the local feel.

we had a very good stay at Sam & Jordis apartment. All went with an ease and the instructions were good. along the visit, we got local recommendations for restaurants, vineyards etc we give Sam & Jordie the best recommendations and will be happy to stay with them again.

This apartment has a fantastic location. Many restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk. The cathédrale, Reims train station and multiple tram stops are also within easy walking distance. The apartment is on the top floor of a renovated mansion. Clean, quiet and intelligently designed. Note that the bed is lofted, accessible by retractable ladder, so people with mobility issues may find this a challenge. The building itself is safe and there isn’t too much street noise at night despite the building being in the center of downtown. A great place for either a couple or a solo traveler.

Everything was great. The apartment is great location for enjoying the surroundings. It is also very clean and very well-equipped. Perfect for this short stay for my daughter and myself. In addition, Alexandre is very responsive. We'll be back with pleasure!

It was a pleasant stay. A nice small and clean apartment near the center of Reims (15 min walk). You have everything you need, including a small garden. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome with picking up a key at another location. Finally, the bed was a bit small for 2 people, I think around 140 cm wide. The hosts respond quickly if there is anything. Definitely recommended to stay here!

We loved our weekend in this apartment - wished we could have stayed longer. Balcony was perfect for evening drinks and location within walking distance of the Cathedral, restaurants and bars and, crucially for us, several champagne houses! Olivier was a great host with lots of proactive communication. He informed us that the shutters were stuck and I was concerned that this would make the room really hot, so he put fans in the rooms, which definitely helped when it was 30+C outside. V secure method for getting keys and entering the property. Would love to return - will definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Reims.
