Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Champagne-Ardenne

The house was exactly what we hoped for. Peaceful in the countryside yet close to the city to see the sights. We had a bit of a snafu upon check-in but Julie was quick to find a solution that worked well for our family. I wish we had an opportunity to have a champagne tasting but the timing never worked out. However, Julie provided a bottle that was divine... Thanks, Julie!

We had a wonderful stay in Awenne, a beautiful area with numerous walks nearby. We were warmly welcomed and had a pleasant stay in the house. The spacious garden and the sunny terrace is an absolute added value.

What a beautiful location! It is a unique and characteristic building, where we immediately felt very comfortable. It has a wonderful garden with a private swimming pool, which is a real treat. Our daughter, just 1 year old, could learn to walk in the garden 🙂 The accommodation is in the small village of Roucy, from where you can drive up the champagne route and into the beautiful surroundings. We have enjoyed very much and would love to come back again. Thank you Régine!

The cottage is fantastically beautiful. It is renovated and furnished with very good taste. In the morning, we were awakened by the chirping of birds. The kitchen door leads directly into an enchanting garden. Everything was available for a nice stay. I would especially like to emphasize the kindness of Marine, the hostess! Anne was very responsive and had great tips for our stay. Lots of great restaurants and tasting ideas. We we’re celebrating or anniversary and Anne left us a bottle of champagne which was much appreciated. Great place to stay and enjoy the local feel.

We had a very nice stay at Léo & Pierre's place, thank you for that. The apartment is a little pearl in the middle of Reims, very clean and with a wonderful terrace that we enjoyed very much. The host was always very responsive to requests. We would come back.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a very comfortable environment at a prime location. The property is within easy walking distance of numerous excellent restaurants and the city’s finest champagne selection at the nearby “Wine Bar”. The amenities were modern, well-maintained, and fully functional. We look forward to returning on our next visit.

Everything went well with our stay, our host is more than responsive and attentive, the neighborhood is quiet, and everything is within walking distance! My partner and I particularly enjoyed our stay in Auxerre!

Our stay at Hervè's apartment was wonderful. He and Claudine were very welcoming. On arrival, they invited us to share a glass of their own champagne with them (we ended up buying 2 bottles to bring home!) The private courtyard where we could park our car and enjoy the sunshine was very pleasant and peaceful. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful village and surrounding vineyards. The local boulangerie offers some fantastic pastries, quiches and bread (also coffee) and they are also very friendly. The apartment itself was spotless and very comfortable. The photos do not do it justice. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Christophe is a legend. In a world of corporate-owned AirBnBs where you can’t get a host on the phone, they haven’t personally been in the apt for years, and you feel like a cog in their revenue wheel, Christophe is a breath of fresh air. He personally greeted us both on arrival and departure, was so genuine and kind, offered lots of great local recommendations and even helped carry our very heavy luggage to our car down the street. I would 10/10 recommend you stay here if you’re in the area and we’ll absolutely stay again next time we pass through. Merci, Christophe!!

Wonderful place with everything one needs! Near the train station and the city center. The balcony over the river was so relaxing!

This apartment has a fantastic location. Many restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk. The cathédrale, Reims train station and multiple tram stops are also within easy walking distance. The apartment is on the top floor of a renovated mansion. Clean, quiet and intelligently designed. Note that the bed is lofted, accessible by retractable ladder, so people with mobility issues may find this a challenge. The building itself is safe and there isn’t too much street noise at night despite the building being in the center of downtown. A great place for either a couple or a solo traveler.

Everything was great. The apartment is great location for enjoying the surroundings. It is also very clean and very well-equipped. Perfect for this short stay for my daughter and myself. In addition, Alexandre is very responsive. We'll be back with pleasure!

The room is nicely decorated and facilitated. Neighborhood is relatively quiet and good for resting, regarding it is super close to the main area of Dinant. Love the window view and balcony a lot! The host is friendly and responsive, we would definitely choose to stay here again if got a chance.

It was a pleasant stay. A nice small and clean apartment near the center of Reims (15 min walk). You have everything you need, including a small garden. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome with picking up a key at another location. Finally, the bed was a bit small for 2 people, I think around 140 cm wide. The hosts respond quickly if there is anything. Definitely recommended to stay here!
