It was built in the early 16th century as a fortress, with the only purpose to protect the city mainly from pirate attacks and constitutes part of the Venetian wall. There is a double and a single bed in separate rooms, as well as a sofa bed (all have anatomical natural latex mattresses). The bathroom has a big bath and the kitchen is fully equipped. There are two balconies with panoramic view, overlooking the Cretan sea and the White Mountains.
