Shepherd's Cottage

Shepherd's cottage is a delightfully cosy annexe with it's own private entrance and own cottage garden. Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). Complimentary bottle of wine on stays of 4 nights or more.

The Garden Retreat

The Garden Retreat is a self contained dwelling, at the end of our garden. In a quiet residential area of Dorchester, in the summer there may be some noise from the surrounding gardens. Access from the road, leads directly to the Garden Retreat. We are in easy walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the centre of Dorchester. here you will find Cafes, restaurants and shops Dorchester is an historic town, with many place of interest. No Visitors. No smoking or vaping, on the premises. No pets.

The Yorkshireman @ Piddlehinton

We are so excited about our new conversion. Completely self-contained, it is a lovely, light, cosy open space with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a cool sleeping platform/mezzanine. Piddlehinton is a special place, 20 mins from the Jurassic Coast and 10 mins from Dorchester, in the renowned Piddle Valley, with beautiful walks, views and our award winning pub, The Thimble Inn. We are right next door if you need anything, but if you prefer your privacy, you can be totally separate.

The barn is situated in the pretty village of Maiden Newton, which has great local shops and eating within a 5 minute walk and is just 30 minutes from the stunning Jurassic Coast, with the beautiful Dorset countryside right on the doorstep.

Whether you’re wanting to have a base for a holiday with family, staying for a wedding, or here on business, I would love to have you stay at Lower Farm. The Annexe is situated on a working organic dairy farm, nestled in the most idyllic part of Dorset; perfectly located for beaching, country pubbing or long walks in the rolling countryside that surrounds. Nestled in a quiet wooded corner of our garden on the edge of the village of Martinstown. Fully self contained, the hut has everything you need inside and is in a great central location, close to Dorchester and just a short drive to Weymouth and Chesil beach. One of the richest areas in the UK for hill forts and ancient earthworks. Very houseproud so regrettably no pets and no smokers.
