The Hoot

SamRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Just back from a magical honeymoon stay at The Hoot—absolutely fabulous….. even better than the photos. The energy is incredible: soul-soothing, serene, and full of love. Every detail has been thought of, with quirky decor and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy, and soaking in the outdoor tub during a rainstorm was amazing. Jan and Dunc are kind, thoughtful hosts who give you complete space to fully unwind. Can’t imagine anyone regretting a stay here and we will definitely return ✨🌿🛁

The Coach House

The coach house was lovely! We really enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle and the hot tub was amazing! The hosts were really friendly and on hand to help with any queries throughout our stay. Also loved that we got bread eggs and milk on arrival! Would definitely recommend for a weekend break away!

The Granary, Court Lodge Butleigh.

DoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Pip and Peter, what a pair of peaches!!! There are so many things to recommend this place and this host/couple that I will leave it to you to come and see for yourselves. Pip continues a beautiful family tradition of hospitality handed to her by her mother, who, for years, hosted a wide variety of visitors at Court Lodge. Now Pip and her husband Peter run the entire show, including their own addition, the Granary, with generosity, love and much care. The worst part of our visit here is/was that we did not get to spend nearly enough time with these two, as in the past, we had gotten to know and love Pip's mum, and the place. But with Pip being slammed busy with end-of-the-school-year activities, we were totally fortunate she made time for us at all to come visit, having known us from 20 years before when we were repeat customers at "Mrs. Atkinson's!" Fortunate indeed. Come to stay at the Granary and experience the magic of this place, this land, and these people firsthand.

The Cottage at Brook Farm with EV charger

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a really lovely two night stay at the cottage which was lovely and private and quiet and was immaculate on arrival. The beds were very comfy, nice soft towels and Claire had thought of everything like tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs, hand soap, cooking oil, salt n pepper etc. we even had some Kipling cakes which the girls indulged in. Kitchen really well equipped too. The only other thing you’d need perhaps if you were staying for a week is a washing machine. Highly recommend and I’m sure we will stay again Thanks Claire

Mum's place

RikkiRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What an absolute delight 'Mum's Place' is! We had such a lovely weekend exploring the local areas of Glastonbury and Wells, and even found time to pop to Wookey Hole, which was also nearby. 'Mum's Place' was the ideal location to be able to venture out for the day, then provided us with the opportunity to hide ourselves away in it's cozy, little nook to relax, and watch the various wild life go about their business in the stream and orchard opposite. We were even lucky enough to see a Kingfisher a number of times - glorious! Lizzy and Kev have truly thought of everything - we were even left some yummy, homemade biscuits which were a delicious treat! Thank you for having us stay in your beautiful cabin - it really is a special place.
