This house is within walking distance of the South fork of the Spring River. Enjoy trout fishing or many different water activities. Flathead Retreat is about a 10 minute drive from old Hardy town, which offers several antique shops and great places to eat. It’s also just a short drive to Mammoth Spring Park. The start of the Spring River. So, come enjoy the area!

We absolutely loved it here! The house was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. It was so much more than what we saw in pictures and just absolutely perfect! We loved the peacefulness on the deck and our kids loved swimming in the lake in our free time. If you choose to stay here you won’t be disappointed at all❤️

Perfect place to get away in the Highland/Hardy/Cherokee Village area! Plenty of room and furnished well. Washer/dryer/dishwasher all worked perfectly. Fishing dock made it the perfect getaway! We enjoyed the wildlife from both the back porch and the dock... Ducks; Geese (with babies) cranes; herrings; turtles, snakes, a beaver, and of course fish (bluegill/large mouth bass/crappie/sunfish)... we caught a bunch of all of them!

William and Ginni were great host! I rented the entire house and it was perfect for our group! We had full access to the kitchen so we grilled out steaks and used the kitchen to cook the sides. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were super soft and clean. I loved the scent on the sheets each night as I climbed into bed. I highly recommend staying with William and Ginni and hope to do so again!

If you like to stay in a place that is quaint, comfy, feels like home, has lots of character, antiques and brings back memories of a simpler time, this is the place!! From the moment we walked in the house, it brought back memories of my grandparents' home (back in the 60"s)! Very comfortable beds, clawfoot tub!! The porch was wonderful! Shaded and great seating to enjoy your morning coffee or to just relax and enjoy the peaceful area. We will definitely come back to stay when we visit our good friend!! Robert was very prompt with any questions we had. Wonderful place!!
