Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chorley District

We had a very enjoyable stay at Dave’s place in Dalton. The location was ideal for us, as it is nearby our friends’ houses. The property was very nicely furnished and suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with a few essentials as we arrived. A nice touch! The beds were very comfortable; the linens and towels were soft and like new. The property grounds are beautiful and close to public byways/hiking paths. We look forward to coming back and experiencing walks in the warmer months. Dave was very responsive. We had a bad storm and the power went out just before midnight. Dave answered our call and came to check on us straightaway. It seemed to be a freak event and the power was restored really quickly. Dave then called us a few days later to check if we needed anything else during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed here for two months as we were visiting family close by. For a long term stay, we can say without a doubt we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with herbs, spices, dishes and a variety of cooking tools. The bathroom had plenty of amenities for use. Spare bedding for change over days. Laundry facilities. Comfy bed with large tv for chill evenings. My husband and I were happy to have a ‘home’ to come home to after days out and about. There were stores nearby (Asda,Lidl, Starbucks etc) for groceries. Walking distance too. The house was very clean and there was even lovely thoughtful items such as bread and milk for us when we got there. Communication was great. Messages with questions responded to in a matter of minutes. Very kind and thoughtful hosts.

A great place to stay to visit Liverpool - really enjoyed being able to retreat out of the centre, but still be an easy bus ride away. We left the car at the house and used the bus (download the Arriva app) and it was so easy. We also went to a concert at Anfield and it’s really convenient for that. The house itself is obviously very well loved, and we really enjoyed the outdoor space for a sunny coffee outside between rain showers. Super comfortable bed and a great walk-in shower!

The cottage was charming, impeccably presented and very comfortable. Everything has been carefully planned with the interest and convenience of guests in mind. The hosts were proactive, attentive and responsive. I couldn't fault it.

Our stay at Katie's was fabulous! The home was adorable and perfectly located, with large windows that filled the space with bright light and charming furnishings. The garden was lovely, and the location was ideal for walks in Whalley, Painter Wood, and the wider Ribble Valley. Katie was an excellent communicator, providing detailed information on local amenities, entertainment, and clear house rules. She was friendly and prompt in her responses. Highly recommended!

Jacqueline's space strikes a great balance between cozy (I think that would be be cosy in the UK) and carefully curated. I am sorry we only got to stay one night, because I think it would be a great place to relax and unwind. She has provided everything one might need to be comfortable and prepared to cook and eat--including some breakfast items, teas and coffees. The furnishings and art are lovely, highly personal and well coordinated. The whole vibe is still just so much about comfort! Jacqueline gave us some ideas around eating dinner out, and we found some other spots on our own, including a small local market for sparkling water, wine, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience in Colne.

The location was 10/10 - next to the train station. The home had everything we needed, all the kitchen appliances and everything you’d need for a short stay. The outdoor area is so so lovely, the flowers and greenery make it very relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic!

A gorgeous weekend at the Hobbit House for our 10th wedding anniversary. From our arrival until we (sadly) departed, both Michael and Barbara were so attentive, accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Michael gave us a fab tour around the hobbit house pointing out everything we needed to know and then took us over to see the pool, ‘The Hut’ and around the stunning gardens. It's such a beautiful setting. Barabara kindly gave us a couple of mini Proseccos for our anniversary celebrations, such a lovely lady. The attention to detail in the house was 10/10 amazing. The building itself is super modern, from the smartplugs next to the bed and on the floor in between the lazy chairs, to the integrated blinds in all windows (including the sky light) and underfloor heating. The outside living roof beautifully blends in with the environment. They’ve literally thought of everything here. The decor was beautiful and cupboards generously stocked. We didn’t want to leave. In Hoylake to visit friends and play some golf. The Bread Shed was ideal for our needs, spotlessly clean, comfortable and within 2mins of the bars and restaurants. James and Fliss were excellent hosts and had a welcome pack of home made bread and snacks for our arrival. The views from the garden are stunning and we won’t hesitate to book on our return to Hoylake

We really enjoyed our stay, shame it wasn't for longer! The cabin was warm, cosy & comfortable & well equipped for it's size. Having a BBQ & fire pit was a great addition which we loved. We would definitely stay again & recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay, the views of the lake was peaceful and calming. Only advice I would say is make sure to bring bug spray as once it starts getting dark they’re out in force. But that’s not a complaint as we still loved our stay

Amazing stay! Great for brining your dog along! Right next to a long quiet walk and we made great use of the bbq and fire pit amenities. Truly a really secure tranquil and relaxing trip! Would recommend to anyone ☺️

We stayed here for my partner’s birthday, it was lovely getaway and break from life itself. A stunning view from the room and Hot tub. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. As well as the accommodation was very clean and tidy. There’s pubs, restaurants and walks close by and the whole surrounding area feels safe, secure and peaceful. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who was looking at a peaceful getaway.

Loved it thoroughly. Such a beautiful area and we really appreciated the booklets outlining things to do nearby.
