The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Within the eco-friendly "La Colline aux Chevreuils", located on the heights of Volvestre facing the Pyrenees, less than an hour from Toulouse. Guests can enjoy the pink city located 40 kilometers away as well as the Pyrenean mountain just an hour's drive away.
