Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Clapton Pond

We (4 adults and 5 children) spent our school holidays in London, staying in this house. It has a large and well-equipped kitchen-dining-living room, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, one separate toilet, and a small garden with a barbecue and a place for sitting together. So everyone in the team found a place to relax and spend time together after long walks in the city. There are a lot of books in the house, which made some of our book lovers very happy. Bus stops are 4-7 minutes walk away, which take you to the tube or even the city center. The Tesco grocery store is also within walking distance. The surroundings of the house are very quiet, and we could sleep peacefully without street noise. We felt very comfortable in this accommodation, just like at home. Overall, we are very happy with the holiday we spent and would gladly return to this house again. Special thanks to the owner of the house, Sarah, who was very supportive and very quickly responded to all our questions.

Lovely! Great little east London neighborhood surrounded by parks and very community feel but not far from the action either — the actual house was perfectly arty and sweet. Great book collection and instruments for music lovers & the garden was absolutely a paradise!! Hosts were communicative and helpful when things came up and the space was clearly loved and cared for. The grocery pick up was also great. 10/10 this place felt like home and a refuge in the London bustle! Thank you!!

I cannot say enough great things about my stay! The location was ideal- located next to two public transportation access points. Very easy to catch an Uber too! Loved walking to the Broadway Market and to Night Tales for a concert! I felt very safe traveling solo and felt right at home. David was proactive, communicative, and very quick to respond when I had questions! Highly, highly recommend!!

We enjoyed the apartment thoroughly, very central location. Easy access to supermarkets and convenience stores. Stations were a stone throw away. Very well laid out and very private.

This place was perfectly located with easy access to metro, restaurants. Everything is walkable and within 10-15 minutes. The space was very comfortable and suited my needs. Highly recommend!

Very good stay in the accommodation offered by Alistair Le Cartier is quiet with a small garden where we were able to see squirrels and even a fox every day. Despite the little country air, access to London is very easy by train and metro. Alistair was very responsive and friendly in the exchanges before and at the end of the stay. Thank you very much

This was a great 2-week stay. The apartment has everything, including a desk where I could write, a real kitchen, and lots of plants. The back yard is private and charming. I slept well, wasn't bothered by neighbors, and got to know Hackney. Alice communicates promptly and thinks ahead.

Great find, brilliant location for Lifo festival at Victoria Park. Home from home with everything you could need. Will definitely use again!

Tsvetina was there to welcome us to a great space with a lovely big balcony. We stayed here for easy access to Victoria Park and it was also a 10 minute walk from Clapton station. Would recommend for a stay in East London.

I absolutely loved my stay in Valeria’s apartment! Lots of nice amenities, the bathtub was a highlight. Great location, near many good restaurants. I highly recommend!

Sharon’s place is adorable - a lovely English flat, outside of the hustle and bustle of London, in a residential neighborhood. My favorite part of her place is her back yard - it’s like a slice of garden heaven in the middle of town. A pond, beautiful flowers; it was lovely just sitting out in her yard taking in the sun (when it wasn’t raining ;)). Entertained daily by magpies and foxes. This flat is just for one person as there is only a twin bed, but her flat is roomy and the kitchen can’t be beat! Sharon was a great communicator and checked in to make sure I was doing okay and was always responsive if I needed anything. Great place to unwind after being on the road. Thank you, Sharon!

Jenni’s apartment was all I needed to spend the Christmas. Beautifully decorated, peaceful flat with a lovely atmosphere. Jenni has a great taste in arts and design and put her personal touch everywhere you look. Staying at her flat was like staying at a five star luxury hotel. The flat was very clean and was provided with many amenities, more than I needed. She was very responsive throughout my stay and responded my texts in less than a minute whenever I needed to double check things. I stayed for five nights and would definitely recommend her place for short or longer visits.

Very lovely hosts - very chatty and friendly in a nice local and private area, which is safe and secure! The beds were super comfy and it was the perfect temperature. Hosts gave us lots of recommendations on where to go and we tried out some of them, they were great! Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us both!

Great one night stay in this beautiful London flat on a great road with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Lovely side of town. The flat is beautiful and has so much character. There is noise from the bar but it went off by 11 on a Sat so didn’t bother us at all. I would recommend this property and neighbourhood. Would stay again. Thank you
