Wonderful hidden gem. The theme and property were amazing. Private and secluded. A great place to go to unwind or celebrate. Highly recommended.

So thankful for this getaway! We got some time away from the kids and enjoyed this sweet cabin and the amenities. I left my wedding band and they graciously mailed it to me. Very satisfied with staying here! The river was too high to float but I’m sure it will be lovely next year when we come a little closer to the summer season. Blessings!

The cabin was perfect for our family. we had room to spread out, relax and take in the surroundings. The hot tub, extra towels and griddle were awesome additions and we really enjoyed staying here. Sandy was great, we talked activities for kids and families and she provided a pack n play for my son. I will definitely recommend this cabin and campground!

This was by far the best airbnb we've stayed in. The place was clean and felt like home. We needed to unwind and the view was absolutely beautiful. They thought of everything. Bug spray, flashlights, all the utensils needed for cooking on a grill or stove, and etc. This place was perfect for a couple who are looking to leave the world behind and unwind. The check in process was super easy. The day of travel I received directions, which got us to location with no problems. Also, if you forget something there is a neighborhood Walmart 8 minutes away. We will without a doubt be back. I would give ten stars but only go to five.

My partner and I came for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect! The lake was beautiful, Lesley and the lodge staff were very friendly, and the hot tub was so nice to have access to. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking another stay at least once a year if not more. Thank you! 😊

Very peaceful and private location yet conveniently located in town for everything! The amenities were great including ceiling fans, both bedrooms and individual pedestal fans for personal use. Air conditioning worked great. Wonderful back deck with great views of nature. The hot tub was great after a long day of fun! We will definitely rent again!

It was a beautiful perfect weekend! They were so accommodating and nice. The place was spotless. It was a wonderful weekend trip. We definitely want to come every month and stay there!!

Wonderful home and wonderful host. Our kids LOVED this place. Private and quiet and plenty big enough for a large family. Easy drive to Poplar Bluff and Dexter. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need and an amazing deck. We will be back!

A great little cabin , so quiet and peaceful. We wanted to get away from it all and it was perfect place to do so . We really enjoyed the stay . Wonderful wildlife around the cabin got some nice pictures. Great host very responsive and friendly. Clean cabin . Would definitely stay again .

This place is absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. My daughter and I spent two nights, but would have loved to stay more. The cabin was immaculately clean, comfortable, cheerful and just lovely! We had our two dogs with us and the grounds were perfect for walking them. The surroundings are gorgeous and quiet. You feel like you are way out in the country, but town is one minute away. We stay in a lot of B&Bs and this one was by far the cleanest and most well-kept we’ve ever stayed in. I give it ten stars!!! ⭐️ Make your reservation now!

We had a great time staying at this place. It is extremely clean & put together. If you’re on the porch it’s pretty secluded but you do hear cars coming up the road & the other cabin is fairly close to the other side. Also make sure you have a vehicle with 4wd. We went through a few spots with fairly deep water since it had just rained and the incline getting there can be tough when it’s wet.

The hideaway was perfect for us! Very cozy and well decorated. There was a storm going through the area and Lauren checked in to make sure we were okay. We loved the property and highly recommend!

A nice cabin in a beautiful setting. Great location if you like a location that is tucked away and peaceful. The cabin itself is set up very nicely and the host was very thoughtful to ensure you are comfortable during your stay with their accommodations and amenities.

The cabin was perfect for what we needed. We ordered fire wood and Justin had it waiting when we arrived:) My only warning is of the train pull off, with younger kids they got very scared the first time, it gets loud and clanky. But after the intial scare, it was fine and had no problems sleeping through the night. Beds are very comfy.

It was a great little cabin for our weeks stay during deer season. It was nice to be able to cook some food and have a hot shower every evening. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. It would also be a great place for a family to stay when visiting the lake.

We wanted a place close to family, found it, only problem was you could hear the big trucks go by at 4 in the morning. And my dog did not like the floor, to slippery, so we went and bought a couple of runner rugs so he could move around. Other than that all was good. We never went fishing nor into the game room, to busy visiting family. Only slept and used washer and dryer. Next time we will bring fishing poles and something to cook out with on grill. We loved the quiet, beautiful neighborhood; we loved learning the history of the home as well as the history of the area (we even got a fantastic rundown of the Battle of Pilot Knob by your local visitor center curator!); we loved Elephant Rocks, Caledonia, and Johnson’s Shut-Ins; and we loved our family movie nights in your family room. I booked this for a personal retreat so I could work on some life planning, get some writing in, and be out in nature to reconnect with my body. This place is a great location for accessing nature, and Michelle and Scott were wonderful! Because this is hosted by Evolve I expected it to be a little sterile, but the folks who live on the property and rehabbed the cabin were totally lovely and helpful and obviously put a lot of care into the place. It felt private and safe and it was nice to have the owners nearby. Lots of nature sounds, including owls. It rocked! I put a 4 star for check in because Google Maps did not take me to the right spot on the Highway since it is a newer address listing, but looking up the addresses listed on the mailboxes led me to the right place and it was a breeze from there. Would love to stay again!
