We had a really nice week holiday here in Prades with two small children. The particular set-up of this property suits small children very well, with lots to do and safety features installed. The property itself is very spacious and comfortable, and the pool was a big hit with the children. Lots to do nearby, with recommendations from the host.

We had a great time at Nancy's cottage, which is spacious, very well-equipped and beautifully decorated. In addition, we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the garden, which is very pleasant. Nancy hosted us very warmly with good French, she is very friendly and gave us good advice on restaurants and hikes to do in the area. There is parking nearby.

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa enjoys beautiful views to the rear, side and front, and the space within is roomy and well-appointed. Air con throughout was very helpful to cool rooms before sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and ate every meal outside on the shaded terrace. The concierge, Jonathan, went above and beyond - meeting us at the property to explain how the pool alarm works, answering queries promptly and being especially amenable and generous when we experienced car problems. The local area is lovely - we enjoyed trips to Eus, Villefranche and a slightly further-afield trip to Collioure on the coast (recommended). There is a very well-priced and delicious bakery within easy walking distance of the villa, and a large supermarket within an easy 10-15 minute drive. Our children enjoyed the (discreet) visits from The Pool Guy, who came to keep the pool in tip-top condition throughout our stay. He was friendly and kind to their inquisitiveness.

We had a great time at Frances' charming home. Behind the green shutters, time seemed to stand still. Special mention for the blue room with its bathtub with stunning views of the Canigó as well as the small terrace with panoramic views of the mountains. Don't miss the Prades market, the walk along the Canal de Bohème to the Abbey of Saint-Michel de Cuxa, and treat yourself to a few hikes around Villefranche-de-Conflent. Try the Pizzeria a few minutes' walk away. Thanks Frances, we'll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Solène's. I highly recommend and would love to come back. This is a great value for money. The cottage looks like the photos, it is functional, clean, spacious. The setting is superb surrounded by the mountain. It would be perfect if there was a small grocery store in the village. :) I was not disturbed but my companion found the fridge a little noisy at night, and we had a dishwasher problem when we used it on the last day. Otherwise really perfect thank you so much.
