Pierre's place in Chateaudouble is absolutely what I hoped for and exactly as marketed. It is quaint, charming, well-equipped, and so incredibly French. The views outside the appartment windows are breathtaking. I adored my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who loves the Var but doesn't want to live in the hubub of nearby touristy towns. As a host, Pierre could not have been more helpful and was always quick to respond to a query or to offer suggestions when I wanted them.

We were completely charmed by this home in Bargemon, with its high-quality & tasteful interior. The bathroom is beautifully tiled. The entire place was spotless and smelled great (w/out artificial air fresheners!) You can completely black out the windows in the bedroom. The air conditioning works very well. The TV easily connected to our devices. Wifi was great. We really loved it and would stay again. *Note it is located up a long flight of stairs & the ceilings are low in some places. For us, this was no problem; the view from the windows is spectacular, and it feels private. Its location in the small mountain village of Bargemon was ideal for us. The square (which you can almost see from the window) is filled w/ several dining options. We loved L'Estanco, got To-Go from Pizzas A Emporter Aux 3 Saisons (yum!) And my husband went every day to Banette Bargemon et l'Annexe (insanely good pear tarts). Marie Laure was a superb host, we felt very well taken care of.
