Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Council of the City of Sydney

Marcel was a very welcoming host! He made sure we got inside easily and showed us around, even provided recommendations for things to do and eat. He was very responsive. I was worried about being cold in winter and he ensured there was a heater for us. The place is great, comfortable, super walkable to everything and king’s cross station is a block away. Great stay!

The property is in a fantastic location. Frank was very responsive and friendly, and kindly agreed to our early check-in. The place was also clean and well-kept.

Everything was great, it would be even more perfect if you could prepare an extra box of tissues and brushes, toothpaste or warn us to prepare. In general we were very satisfied with the house, the location and how to reply, instructions of the host. Thank you, we will come back soon.

Ghassan was extremely responsive and helpful. Apartment was clean and well equipped. Bathroom was on the smaller side but water pressure was good with hot water. Very near to Broadway shopping centre (5-6 min walk), which has a Coles, food and shopping.

It was very well situated for us and the garage space was a real bonus, allowing us to bring down more things than if we came by train. Quite adequate for two people and the heated pool was appreciated at the end of the day. Once you are familiar with getting the keys and access to garage and building it is straight forward, but a little daunting at first coming off a busy city street. If we go down again it will be much easier. Bill Collier

Absolutely loved staying at Elli & Sam’s place in the beautiful and picturesque Darlinghusrt. We walked everywhere, to so many amazing cafes, restaurants and bars, and public transport was easy to get around. The apartment itself was stunning, so much light, airy, clean, comfortable and there is a private rooftop! Elli and Sam are both so kind and easy to communicate with, and just so helpful. We had such a great stay and cannot wait to stay again.

Andrew was responsive from my initial enquiry. Met us on arrival and is a genuine nice guy. Perfect location with amazing views of the city. The apartment was immaculate and as per the photos in a great spot with lots to do. 100% Will stay again when in Sydney. So good when you deal with great people. Spent 5 nights here when visiting Sydney. Stylish, spacious, clean, very well equipped. Patio and balcony outdoor spaces really nice. Great location, nice cafes and bakeries (Lovely breakfast at Calico literally over the road); few minutes walk to the train station, a couple of stops into the centre. Paul provided extensive local recommendations for everything. Outstanding!

Stayed here for about 2 weeks and enjoyed every bit of it! In a great area that’s quiet at night and is a short bus ride to the city and bondi/bondi junction as well. Home was clean upon arrival and had no issues during my stay.

Thank you so much for having us Sara! The house was perfectly located - easy walk to lots of fantastic cafes and restaurants and an easy uber to anywhere around the city. Lovely well decorated home with great amenities! Clean and tidy! Beds were super comfy which is always a plus! The only thing to note is the stairs are steep which Sara was kind enough to warn us about but definitely consider if you have any mobility restrictions! Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend this location 🙂

We had such a wonderful time! It was the perfect spot for our wee family to explore Sydney - close to transport networks, stocked with everything we needed, heaps of character and Alexis was always incredibly friendly to deal with. Would definitely stay again when back in Sydney!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sarah’s apartment. It’s beautifully designed and we had everything we needed for a three night stay. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet and there are some great cafes nearby. Sarah was a responsive and thoughtful host. Excellent experience overall - one of our best on Airbnb

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Camperdown with our 10mo. The host was more than helpful in the lead up and even organised a cot and high chair for us. The place was small, but if you’re looking for a base to come home too after a day of exploring it’s perfect. Bed is comfy and the heating kept the place cozy. I loved the washer/dryer combo also as it meant we could keep up with the needs of the little one. The host left a manual which included instructions to all the appliances as well as local recommendations. She even graciously left us some baby books to use while we stayed. Overall great experience and for the same price if not less than a crummy hotel room, you get far more than you pay for in such a great, walkable area close to cafes, parks and shopping. Will stay again when we visit Sydney.

Laura’s place was great. The house was perfect for what we needed. Easy to get to and lovely inside. There was quite a lot of street noise and homeless people which might not be for everyone

Andrew’s cottage was the perfect home base for our stay in Sydney and he is a true bed and breakfast host. He was very attentive, flexible, and accommodating throughout our week long stay. We loved being tucked in the quiet and charming Paddington neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Duncan’s apartment is situated right by the big Coca Cola sign in Sydney‘s Kings Cross. We found it a perfect location in that all amenities were only a few metres away, and there were a multitude of restaurants and cafes right on Victoria Street to choose from. The apartment itself is exactly as the photos show. It used to be a hotel and rooms have been renovated into apartments, so its design is long and thin. Lovely furniture, and well appointed. Duncan checked in a couple of times to see if we needed anything, and we appreciated his responsiveness and proactivity. Would definitely recommend this host and their apartment for a great location when visiting the harbour city! Thanks Duncan.

Great location beautiful property well maintained

Glen’s place was in a great location, and he was kind enough to let me check in a bit earlier, which I really appreciated. It’s very easy to get to from the airport, and there are lots of cute cafes and dining spots in the area. I hadn’t explored this side of Sydney before and truly enjoyed discovering it. The space is small but ideal for a solo traveller or a couple who plans to spend most of their time out and doesn’t need to cook much beyond tea or a sandwich. While it’s an interior studio and faces a wall -it is surrounded by beautiful plants, including a lovely monstera, so it feels quite private and green. The washing machine is a fantastic perk, and although there are occasional announcements from the nearby centre, I didn’t find them disruptive. The only things I would tweak are the gap between the bed and the wall, which makes it a bit less comfortable when sitting up, and the lighting—I would have liked a stronger light source. Perfect for a short stay.

I've rented Brendan's apartment a few times the past few years. It's in a great location, a Central station entrance is right next door, and plenty of local eateries nearby. The apartment was spotlessly clean as always and has everything you need for a long stay (washer, dryer, ironing board, reliable Internet, tv connections). Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Sharon’s one bedroom in the city! First, Sharon was a gem of a host! She was very responsive and sent detailed instructions with pictures for check in, knowing it could be confusing to find. She was also flexible to allow us to drop off bags early, which was a huge help! The apartment was just as described, a comfy space to come back to after big days of exploring! It was very clean and had all we needed for our stay.

Great compact apartment in Potts Point, in a very central area. Close to shops, cafes, public transport and restaurants. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Everything’s was as displayed in the listing.

This is an amazing place!!! Wonderful location. We stayed in Miller’s Point for 2 nights at the beginning of our time in Australia but every member of our family preferred this location (family of 5 with adult children, 21, 20, 18). I really loved the ferry stop next to the Australian National Maritime Museum which is directly across the street from the condo building. Very safe surroundings. Beautiful walk across the bridge to restaurants and gelato. The views from the living area and kitchen are spectacular. Great beds, great shower, great air conditioning, great washer/dryer, great everything. Yes, it is as clean and picturesque as the photos on this site.
