We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

An excellent choice. It was off season so we had the benefit of total calm. Within easy walking distance of a train station, boulangerie and great restaurant. The gite is well- equipped but we brought our own bedding and towels. We were only there for four nights but given the lack of height in the bedroom, if we were staying longer, we may not have chosen the gite because we are both tall. The woodwork is impressive and all in all, we highly recommend the Bergerie for a total escape but with the convenience of not having to drive everywhere.

Very charming house. Relaxing and quiet setting. We are well located for visiting the surrounding area. We appreciated all the recommendations made by Sabine and Mélanie. We'll be happy to stay in the Dordogne in this pretty house.

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

A true haven of peace! The large garden, pool and hot tub provide a great setting for relaxing. The accommodation is comfortable, very clean and as advertised. They're thoughtful and available. A refreshing stay that I would recommend without hesitation!

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Beautiful house, with an absolutely therific garden and a proper pool. The value is extremely good for the price!

No complaints. Nathalie is very kind and very responsive. The house is ideal for resting. Located in a quiet area and close to Périgueux and many tourist sites. The sheltered and heated pool on a large terrace is really the highlight of the house. I would highly recommend it.

Very nice accommodation in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses are fragrant and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

Super small, parenthesis at Agnes and her husband's. The place is perfect. The environment is very quiet and access to outdoor activities and the beautiful villages of the Dordogne is perfect. I recommend it.

Very nice stay. Nice view of the surrounding area. Note: - access via a pedestrian street on the side. Is done without problem but not necessarily suitable for all profiles. - the absence of a stove despite the presence of a fridge, microwave etc. Beyond these few notes, a great little stone cottage in the country. 100% recommended.

What a great place . We stayed with our dog for a week and it was fantastic . Belves itself was beautiful, with enough bars and restaurants to keep you entertained . Market day on Saturday is a must . Loads to do in the area. Would really recommend this charming home which is very well located . We especially enjoyed sitting in the courtyard of an evening enjoying a glass of wine .

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

We spent 4 days at Lionel's. Accommodation located in a quiet area, large, perfectly equipped, and very clean. We found that the bedding was of very good quality (2 90 cm beds joined together). We also enjoyed eating our meals on the terrace, to the sound of birds and flowing water (small stream and waterfall below the accommodation). We highly recommend this accommodation and this host!

A beautiful cottage with plenty of amenities available for relaxation and good times. Charming place, full of character. Walks all around the house and nearby visits. And the host is very concerned about our well-being and easy communication even remotely. We recommend this accommodation for an incredible time with friends and family!
