Firstly, the location is beautiful, peaceful and scenic. The lodge itself was amazing, offering everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the tennis court, gym, and spa. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Overall, we had a great weekend at the lodge.

The Granary Cottage @ Bromwich Park Farm, Oswestry

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay so much that we can't wait to come back! The place was pristine, beautifully decorated with so much character, surrounded by beauty, perfectly stocked, and so comfortable! We felt so peaceful in this cozy stay. Nearby Oswestry was a cute little town with lots of food options. We greatly appreciated the helpful binder of recommendations and information left by the hosts. Perhaps the best part was cuddling with Rocky, one of the cats! We are excited to escape the bustle of London to stay in this serene place again in the future!

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Jayne’ Cottage Stay Absolutely excellent! From start to finish, our stay at Jane’s cottage was flawless. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet village with everything you could need nearby, including two great local pubs with fantastic food and handy shop amenities. The cottage itself was exceptional: spotlessly clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you could possibly think of. The two generously sized bedrooms each had their own en-suites and huge TVs, making it incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Jayne was a truly excellent host—thoughtful, welcoming, and accommodating. She even let us use her garage to store our motorbikes during our weekend stay, which was above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Peaceful, well-appointed, and hosted with genuine care. We’ll definitely be returning!

Charming barn conversion with luxury hot tub

SamanthaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We absolutely loved our stay at Pheasants Folly barn. Surrounded by fields, in peaceful countryside, beautiful horses over the fence- it was exactly what we needed. The barn itself is actually even more beautiful than the photos, really nicely done and everything was spotlessly clean. The welcome basket was lovely surprise too. The hot tub was perfect and we all enjoyed it of an evening after lots of walking. It felt really safe here, with an electric gate on the front and out in the middle of peaceful countryside. The stars at night were absolutely amazing to see. Kate was a fantastic host, very responsive, and I have already made enquiries to book again.

Cosy, quirky cottage

GregorRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I can't say enough about this place it's fantastic. Close to all that Oswestry has to offer but just outside all the action, to be quite and comfortable, when you'd like to relax. It is literally a 2-minute walk from pubs, shopping, the Castle and the Market. The accommodations have everything you could possibly need, a book that outlines everything about the accommodation, the town, attractions and even local menus . If not in the book, the hosts are quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this place, except for any weekend that I'd like to be there, because I will definitely be coming back.

Sweeney Farm Glamping - Mountain Lodge

GabrielleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had such a beautiful weekend in Helen’s tent with my friends, there’s lots to do in the area, we spent one of our days in Lake Bala. Even if you want to stay on the site there’s plenty of games and sports equipment provided and a field to enjoy. Inside the tent was spotless and comfortable we all felt right at home. Absolutely nothing to complain about, we would all definitely return :)
