The cottage was beautiful and really cosy. The area was really quiet, but really close to pubs and a shop (walking distance). We really enjoyed in the jacuzzi, nice warm and we managed to enjoy the swimming pool too. Russell was really responsive to all of your queries.

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything you need there and immaculately presented. Great for easy access to local hotspots and walks too. Hot tub was lovely with towels provided. Lots of helpful information and host was really responsive with my questions before arrival. We used for a girls (over 50’s!) weekend but would be perfect for families too.

We had a fantastic stay! The place is absolutely lovely - private, peaceful, and perfectly located on the countryside. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. A thoughtful welcome gift box was waiting for us when we arrived, which was such a nice touch, especially since we got in late. The snacks were much appreciated! The hot tub exceeded our expectations - crystal clear, always warm, and ready to enjoy. The charming outdoor lighting added a cozy atmosphere to the evenings. The only small downside was the lack of closet space (there is none), but it wasn’t a big issue for our short stay. We were hoping for better weather to explore the grounds, but there’s always next time! 😊 Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I have no complaints what so ever! if you enjoy being secluded in the countryside then this is the perfect spot to stay. The cleanliness of the pod is immaculate and the hot tub too! There is everything you need if staying a couple nights. There is a microwave and table top stove to use which was perfect for us when we stayed. The gift basket on arrival was lovely and a very nice touch. The farm itself is a very lovely place. There is a large space outside the pod that you can use. There’s sheep on the farm that you can see and if you like to sit outside at night you will hear a “barr” every once in a while. Outside the gates there is an egg hutch where you can buy some free range eggs. I loved this idea and we even got some for ourselves. There isn’t much around but there is farmers fields with foot paths that you can adventure, also if you look in the distance you can see Blackpool tower. It’s very quiet with the sounds of nature and very private. Will definitely be back.

The lodge was beautiful, we had a lovely peaceful weekend. They also had Netflix already on the tv which was great for a cosy night in. The scenery around was beautiful and would definitely go back. The only negative was we were excited about the pizza oven but wasn’t actually able to use it.

Fantastic place to stay! Very clean and designed well, we enjoyed our visit. Location was good to get to Liverpool and Blackpool and it also peaceful and private to relax in. The hot tub was one if many things to look forward to at Stuarts Farm! Swimming pool was a great addition, plenty of space to move about in. Would definitely recommend others to visit.

Absolutely fantastic host a great little cottage surrounded by lovely countryside, fishing lakes and much more, lots to do a garden for kids that is all enclosed… well worth the money paid

Daniel was incredibly pleasant to communicate with and offered local knowledge and recommendations as well as some much appreciated special touches. We felt completely relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived at the cottage. The descriptions and photos were all spot on. Having the family bathroom and en-suite was great for us as two couples. The property was very well appointed for us to stay in and enjoy relaxing there and also, very close to local restaurants and pubs for when we wanted to go out. The cottage was perfectly located to enjoy walks to the town and along the coastal paths. A lovely relaxing long weekend, we would highly recommend.

The cottage was absolutely perfect. The most gorgeous AirBNB I’ve stayed in. So tastefully decorated and everything was lovely quality, especially the beds and bedding. It was easy to find and check in. Very easy to park. Emma left some lovely treats which went down a treat. It was a real home from home.

Beautiful cottage surrounded by woodlands and stream. The neighbours we met on our dog walks were really lovely and helpful talking about the area. Our whole family including our dog loved the cottage. Just wished we had longer. Thank you Dan for restoring such a wonderful place. North wales has so many great places to visit and extremely dog friendly

We had a brilliant few days in Railway Cottage. Such a convenient location to explore the area, everything you need is on the doorstep. The cottage was cosy, clean and well-appointed. Would certainly stay again.

Such a beautiful place to stay if you want to be close to Liverpool but a little bit away from downtown. Kim and Jonathan were incredible hosts and the cottage was just simply perfect. We loved the location and how peaceful it was. Highly recommend this stay!

A fabulous 2 night stay at Swallows rest, and we could have all easily stayed for a week! Beautiful location with stunning views, so peaceful. Looking out to fields with lambs (very entertaining). A home away from home, well equipped kitchen - mum managed to cook a roast on the day we arrived - lamb (awful choice on our part considering our field neighbours!), comfy sofas and even comfier beds! The accomodation was spotless and pristine! We were staying for a wedding and Emma was kind enough to recommend a local hair salon, which we then booked. A full length mirror would be my only suggestion but this was only so we could check our wedding outfits! Would recommend a stay here, a great base for exploring. Thank you Emma and family :)

We had a great break here visiting friends and family. Lovely clean house in a peaceful location. Made a great base for travelling around the local area.

My family came over from Portugal to visit and stayed at little Cobbes for a week. They had a lovely stay and were made to feel at home. Everything was spotless and the cottage had everything you would hope for. The hosts were very acomodating and we would definitely book them in the future again!

Such a lovely wee place in an equally lovely part of the country. Would happily look it up if I planned to return to the area and would also happily recommend it to others. We (4 adults) stayed for 2 nights and we never felt like we were in each others way. We used the stay as a base for a recent concert at Anfield, transport into Liverpool was easy, we used Merseyrail from Ormskirk. We also chose here to have the calmness of the country to chill too. What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

A very lovely cottage with everything we needed. Well decorated and sparkly clean. Beds were outrageously comfortable and the added little extras around made our stay very enjoyable. A convenient general store, nice eateries too. A pretty village with a river running through. We had events planned so didn’t get time to explore much but it’s a lovely spot with amazing countryside on the doorstep. Catherine’s communication was so helpful and we appreciated the ease of self check in. Many thanks if we are this way again we would definitely love to stay again 🌷
