We had the most wonderful stay, and only wish we had time to stay longer. The hosts were amazing!! And the views and countryside ambiance were perfection. The hosts made wonderful recommendations for eating and hiking nearby; they even generously started us a fire on a cool evening. The apartment was humble, but perfectly clean, well equipped, and had modern amenities. The beds were so comfortable and clean. Perfect! I was also able to work in both the apartment and a beautiful sun room on the main property. Wifi was sufficient for me to work remotely. 10/10 would recommend to others, and I hope to someday return!

María es una anfitriona excelente, muy buena comunicación y siempre atenta a cualquier necesidad que tuviésemos. El alojamiento es espectacular, decorado con mucho gusto, tranquilo y muy agradable. El entorno y las vistas son preciosas. Es un lugar ideal para relajarse y desconectar. Recomendable 100%.

Fuimos a pasar un fin de semana, y no pudo estar más acertado elegir este alojamiento! Me parece la casa perfecta, tanto respecto a la estética como a las prestaciones. El trato y acogida de Nacho y Patricia es espectacular! Adaptándose a nuestros horarios y preocupándose, hasta cuando avisábamos 10 minutos antes de querer comer algo de su bar! Volveré sin duda 😊

Beautiful little house at the foothills of the Picos de Europa, in a very quiet hamlet. Neat, tidy, picturesque, with all the necessary amenities. Very close to the Bulnes funicular and trails. Be mindful of the narrow streets and ways and limited parking. Everyone in our party was similarly pleased. Juanjo was very helpful.

Noelia is a fantastic host. The refrigerator wasn’t working when we arrived. She immediately arranged a brand new one the following day, meanwhile she arranged for us to put our stuff in the fridge next door. The location was perfect for surfing, Ribadisella and Vega beach close by. Also mountain walking in Picos at your doorstep. The house has a perfect lay-out. Cosy and warm with enough wood for the fire place. The only ‘small’ drawback was the many smelly sticks with (in my opinion) horrible stink throughout the house. But we immediately put those outside. Thanks Noelia. Hopefully we’ll be back sometime.

This unit is one minute up the road from La Montana Magica in the village of El Allende. It is a spacious rental that is peaceful and up in the mountains. It is a nice rental if you are looking for something that is rural and more private. Make sure you bring things like paper towels and bottled water as there were not many 'extras' as this is a mountain rental. I enjoyed my time here - it is about 40 minutes from Covadonga and the entrance to the Lakes of Picos de Europa portion of the national park.

Estuvimos unos días en pareja y la estancia fue una auténtica maravilla. La casa está recién reformada, decorada con mucho gusto y equipada con todo lo necesario. Nada más abrir la puerta, nos encontramos con una mesa de jardín perfecta para desayunar al sol o cenar al aire libre. Las camas son comodísimas, hemos dormido mejor que en casa. Además, la ubicación es inmejorable: desde la puerta puedes acceder a playas preciosas y a rutas en bici espectaculares. Clara estuvo pendiente de todo desde el primer momento y nos ayudó con muchísimas recomendaciones que hicieron el viaje aún más especial. Todo ha sido perfecto, ¡repetiremos seguro!

Muy buena ubicación por la tranquilidad, todo era silencio y sólo se escuchaba la naturaleza. Muy bien las camas y las sábanas.

We had a wonderful stay at Pilar’s charming little house on the hill. The view is absolutely stunning, and the house is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed cooking at home and having dinner on the terrace while watching the sunset — a truly peaceful experience. We traveled with three adults and two toddlers, and Pilar kindly arranged two travel cots for our twins. They fit perfectly next to the bed in the master bedroom, which made things so easy for us. From the house, you can see Playa de la Ñora, and it's just a few minutes’ drive downhill. You can also walk to the beach if you prefer a bit of a stroll. Pilar is a very kind and thoughtful host, and communication was smooth and pleasant. When we are in Asturias again, we would love to stay here once more.

Magical location. Beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the little things that Ruben had prepared ie Lovely wash products, coffee pods, washing detergent, even a small olive oil to cook with. Can only highly recommend. Maybe the nicest rental I've used!

Would definitely like to stay there again - it’s a beautiful area with stunning views, and the accommodation fits in perfectly - as well we being maintained to a very high standard. The wood burner was an extra bonus - which made it the perfect break for us

Es una casita de pueblo preciosa, reformads y bien cuidada y además estaba muy limpia. Nos ha encantado su interior, decorada con gusto, y su exterior en un pueblo muy coqueto y tranquilo. Los niños han jugado por los prados super contentos.

Ha sido un placer alojarnos en Casa Llagú, una zona muy tranquila para descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza que lo rodea! Estamos deseando volver para conocer más de la zona y su encanto.

This was a lovely stay, tucked away from the usual tourist path. Most importantly, we absolutely loved the hosts. They welcomed us with a pour of cider they brewed themselves in their shed, and it truly felt like coming home to your Spanish aunt and uncle’s house. The accommodations were great — a clean, well-kept space with a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. There’s free parking right next to the house, which made things easy. Heads up: the drive there can be a little confusing. You’ll probably feel like the GPS is taking you the wrong way, but just trust it and keep going. The road winds up a mountain to a tiny village at the top, and it’s worth the trek. The only real downside was that there weren’t any restaurants within walking distance. But it was a short drive to nearby towns with great food options. This is a perfect spot if you want to get off the beaten path and experience a more local, authentic side of Spain.

ESPECTACULAR… El sitio un paraíso, zona tranquila, la casa esta situada en un sitio privilegiado. Las vistas parecen un lienzo pintado. El mejor sitio para desconectar. Lo único que se oye son cencerros y animales. La casa perfecta, tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una estancia de 10. Tengo que decir que las camas son super cómodas, nunca había dormido tan bien. Llegar a la casa no tiene ninguna dificultad, las indicaciones que te deja Pilar son perfectas para no equivocarte en ningún momento. Y ademas ella estaba disponible para cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. La verdad que si podemos repetir…no habría duda… repetiríamos sin dudar Gracias por una estancia perfecta.

We loved staying here while we hiked and explored Picos de Europa. It is a very special place. The apt is probably best suited for two people, or a small family. It has large windows, and the views from the terrace and inside are both spectacular - mountains, clouds, fields, houses of Potes. Gorgeous. We loved how the views changed with the different weather. We enjoyed the neighbors tending their gardens, watching the local cats prowl, seeing the horses and the chickens. It was a lovely mix of rural countryside but being in a neighborhood. Potes is very charming. Restaurants, bars, and a small supermarket are an easy walk away. We were conscientious about noise when our windows were open, given the close proximity of neighbors. The cross breeze with windows open was great, but there is no air con, fyi. We needed to park on a nearby street because the driveway was too steep for our car, but this was no problem. Excellent place. We look forward to another visit!

Encantadora casita en el campo, perfecta para relajarse y conectar con la naturaleza. Está reformada y decorada con muchísimo gusto y funcionalidad, pero también conserva elementos antiguos y tradicionales que hicieron que la experiencia sea auténtica. Clara nos dio muchas recomendaciones para paseos cerca (la ubicación es ideal para explorar esa parte de Asturias), pero pasar tiempo en la casita jugando juegos de mesa o simplemente mirando el campo, eran planes geniales en sí. Una estancia excelente, la recomendamos muchísimo!!

Our stay at Adrian's place was amazing - Adrian's mother and father checked us in and were SO helpful in welcoming us, providing recommendations, answering any questions, and helping us with directions, check-in, etc. While their house is hard to get to (steep, narrow winding roads), it is incredibly worth it as the view is stunning! It is peaceful, serene, mystical, and more. We would love to come back!

Jorge was attentive, friendly and proactive - always coming up with great suggestions for local trips. The house itself was wonderful and the views are breathtaking! It's difficult to do those mountains justice in photographs... If you're looking for a peaceful base that's within easy reach of the Picos and the coast then look no further. We hope to be back some day!
