Wonderful hidden gem. The theme and property were amazing. Private and secluded. A great place to go to unwind or celebrate. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and welcome gift. It made us feel very welcome! Such a nice place for a peaceful vacation.

My wife and I stayed here while we shopped for land to purchase. House was extremely clean, fresh pastries from a local bakery on the counter, and a basket with items to make s’mores! View was incredible, wildlife was abundant, and sitting at the lake was a great reset! You really get way more than what you pay for at this cabin, the family wants to make sure you feel welcomed and enjoy the work they have put into the property. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful place, our kids loved running outside with our dog and catching lighting bugs. There was some rain in the forecast but thankfully it stopped for a while for us to enjoy the amazing pool. Kids are already wanting to go back!

The cabin was perfect for our family. we had room to spread out, relax and take in the surroundings. The hot tub, extra towels and griddle were awesome additions and we really enjoyed staying here. Sandy was great, we talked activities for kids and families and she provided a pack n play for my son. I will definitely recommend this cabin and campground!

This home is a Gem! The home was very clean and Eileen made the process so easy with her prompt response. I recommend this property to anyone who needs a quite secluded getaway. The hot tub was well maintained and the wildlife was awsome! We saw an armidillo! ( yes, not from around hear) Overall, I would highly recommend this wonderfull cozy home.

Great spaces indoors and out! We enjoyed evenings on the patio and nights around the fire pit. Plenty of space for the 10 of us and the kitchen was well equiped. Highly recommend if you're looking to get away and spend some time relaxing in the country side.

Excellent location for exploring the lake. Cutest little house! But it was completely comfortable for the 6 of us. Would stay again.

So many people have said wonderful things about Barbara’s place so it seems that my words would just fall in amongst them. There was something so special about the location and the peaceful atmosphere that when I say “we didn’t want to leave “, I really mean it. It rained and stormed while we were there and it just made everything more beautiful. It was our anniversary and we needed that time together that we don’t get at home. The driving distance to town was just right. The trails on the property led to clear water that you could hear from the porch because of the rain. The fire pit allowed us to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. Our beagle enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching for rabbits or squirrels. Barbara provided beverages, condiments, tea, and even coffee. The way the house is decorated is refreshing but also draws you in to the importance of history and of leaving a legacy of love. We thank you Barbara. From our hearts. We had such a wonderful stay at the bat-cave! Being on the river was SO fun. We were able to kayak and swim and turtle watch! The deck is a true show stopper. We spent ALL of our time out there. As a dog owner, I really appreciate great pet friendly spaces and this is IT. As a fellow hands on Airbnb host, if you have an issue - which we didn’t - I am confident that Kathryne would address it timely and appropriately. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The pictures depict your stay so if this is your vibe then I highly recommend.

rented this place out for a quiet get away and it was just that!! it was the perfect little spot and so cute. woods and scenery for miles and no one or thing around. perfect for privacy and alone time. They had lots of movies to pick from and board games to play which was a ton of fun. Kellie was super nice and helpful! would stay again :)

This was our second stay at this place, and although we went down to float the river and was unable to do so due to the high water levels, we still have a great time, enjoying the scenery and grill with friends!

Lenice and Kody very accommodating. The home was very beautiful very clean. It was accommodating. Lynsey was so sweet. Every time I worked with her she was kind responding quickly to us. Let us have an early check-in because it was raining on us and all of our luggage, they are just wonderful people. You’d be very blessed to stay in their home

Great secluded area! Peaceful and with beautiful views. It was very spacious and the rooms fit every ages needs. John was very responsive too.

Extremely peaceful and quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Home is as described, impeccably clean and neat with a stunning view of the lake. It’s a place to unwind and do nothing but read and sit in the sun. We went swimming at the campgrounds which was busy but a nice place to cool off. Great communication with our hosts!

I absolutely want to come back again. I do not recommend driving a low profile vehicle, as this is a river location and roads may be washed out. Her written directions were perfect. It’s not a location where you can just run to town for something BUT it’s AMAZING if you’ve done your shopping and plan to relax for a weekend or to vacation at for the week. The host was kind and accommodating. I would recommend this for a girls weekend, guys trip, or a relaxing family getaway.
