Holiday rentals with a patio in Cyncoed

Booked last minute before the Newport Marathon and it was exactly what I needed. Ann was very welcoming and kindly left out coffee and juice to help fuel the run! The annexe is nice and private and has everything you'd need. Car/bus needed to get into Cardiff.

Jolanta and I were only in contact via the messages. She is a likeable landlady and available at any time. Access to the apartment is via a key box - very easy to set 4-digit with number wheels. The apartment is very bright and friendly. It is very quiet at night (residential area). If you like to sleep dark, you have to take sleeping glasses or the like with you for one of the bedrooms, as the street lamp is very bright. It didn't bother me. The other bedroom is inside. If you are good on foot, you can reach the city in 20 minutes and Penarth Pier in a good 30 minutes. Penarth Pier is beautifully situated on Bristol Canal. You can also eat there. Cardiff can also be reached in a quarter of an hour by car. Cardiff Bay (port) offers many pubs and restaurants. You can also go for a walk there. If I go to the area again, I will definitely stay in Jolantas's apartment again.

Great place to stay for a weekend away in Cardiff. Short walk to Mermaid Quay. Really peaceful location. Spacious and very clean, comfy beds. Bonus of a secure parking space. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would 100% recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alison's - thank you for having us! The spacious apartment has obviously been recently furnished, and it was extremely clean. There was everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed with high quality bed linen. Thank you for the generous welcome basket, which was ideal for our breakfasts, and we enjoyed the biscuits too! All in all we thought it was excellent, and a great location for visiting St Fagans and our Cardiff cousins. Thank you very much to Alison and Luigi, and we hope to stay with you again.

Was such a lovely stay, probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in in Cardiff so far. Cathays station is a 15 second walk away which we got into town, so very handy. Everything was clean and lovely and great facilities :) Would definitely stay again ❤️

We spent just one night at Kay’s lovely apartment. She responded quickly to any questions , very clean, comfy bed and lovely decking over a very pretty stream.

We had a great stay at this apartment! The host was extremely accommodating and responsive, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The apartment itself was spotless clean, very functional, and surprisingly bright for a basement unit. We especially appreciated the spacious layout, the small backyard, and how well-lit it was throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the touch-sensitive table lamps—such a nice detail! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly during our entire stay, and we found the welcome pack really helpful, especially the manual for the heater, which came in handy during the night. The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful houses and tree-lined streets. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the central rail station, which we didn’t mind at all. All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

I extended my stay from 2 weeks to 3 without hesitation. I felt at home right away. Perfect for Solo and couple travelers.

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay the might before my wedding. Both lodges were beautiful and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Location is beautiful and Ginetta is a WONDERFUL host. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a perfect stay. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed xxxx

We had a great stay. Location was ideal for us. Easy to walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. Local park 5 minutes walk. Good to have parking on the drive for 2 cars as Cardiff streets can be difficult to park on. Quiet location, relaxing, peaceful. Tom was a great host, thank you.

The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

Stayed here for a long weekend whist visiting some friends in the area. There were 4 of us staying and there was plenty of space and was very clean too. The house is in a great location, not too far out from the city centre. Lots of shops and a few pubs within walking distance too. I was very impressed with the communication which made checking in so much easier. This was very welcome as I have had negative expirences in the past with this kind of thing. A very positive expirence and would definitely stay again should I return to Cardiff.

Lovely stay at Aaron and Jai’s place. Felt right at home there and it’s in a great location- in the city but still nice and peaceful. Aaron and Jai were great hosts, really friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again myself if I’m ever in the area again.

We stayed at Lyndon’s beautiful cottage for the weekend, which had fantastic access to the ICC Wales, where myself and my friend were competing (ATHX). The perfect spot to relax - we loved the bbq and the added little touches! Thank you!

Absolutely loved this air BnB Gill was extremely helpful and the cottage was brilliant Loads of room Very comfortable with stunning views Enjoyed my visits from Bella the cat too and the horses over the gate I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again highly recommended

The communication from booking to leaving was fantastic. The flat is spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has been put into it too make guest extremely comfortable. It was great sitting on the large veranda area in the evening as the sun went down. By far this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in. We will be booking again and again. The apartment was exactly as described and accessible from the motorway! All instructions were clear and sent through in advance so there was no queries ahead of arrival or on departure. Would highly recommend staying here to those wanting to visit Cardiff or the surrounding areas! ⭐️

Beautiful place Very clean and everything you need for a relaxing break. Sarah was an excellent host and very welcoming and helpful.

It was compact as described, very new and clean. We got great sleep and appreciated being able to park our rental car in the drive.

A great place to stay so quiet it is a good walk into town but a bit of a hill on the way back,but all in all host very attentive definitely would stay again

We had the most wonderful stay with Mags. The house is stunning, surrounded by the most beautiful landscaped gardens. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong in the morning. The property itself is cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept great and the shower is excellent! Lastly, Mags was the cherry on top. She was kind, attentive and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, albeit we only stayed for one night. One of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed in - we hope we can find an excuse to come back again. Brava!
