Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Welcome to a newly built (2018), charming house between Mora and Orsa with a high standard for the whole family in the heart of Dalarna. Wonderful views of Lake Orsa and the blue mountains. In the middle of nature, close to swimming, skiing experiences and adventure. The spa is now ready to use. The price is not included in the regular rent. Although the house is located in a nice and quiet area, it is only 5 minutes to the hospital and 8 minutes to the shopping center.

I närområdet finns flera sjöar och fina fiskevatten, möjligheten att plocka bär och svamp, vandra eller varför inte ta en tur upp till ”rännbergs toppen” (vandringsled upp till en närliggande bergstopp)

Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in the tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 min away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.
