Great place to have days of rest. The surroundings looks clean and tidy, well looked after. Sally and Gavin are lovely and they really care about your stay. The flufy Alfie, very agile ... it might be the very first to welcome you right at the gate. It is an adorable cat who visits your lodge to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Don't forget about it's crackers :D. Time to time Lola, will show up and look not for a bone but for some shadow. Really impressed, you should hear the story too.

I had a fabulous stay with my dog,the views are incredible and the surrounding countryside is so beautiful,lovely woodlands and meadows to explore,we walked for miles and definitely want to go back to see more of the area,great for wildlife,deer,rabbits,Buzzard,Barn Swallows,also heard a Yellowhammer if that’s your sort of thing. Romy was great host,very friendly and was available when needed but not intrusive,had lots of info on local life and popped round to help when I couldn’t get the cooker working,she soon sorted it out. Not too far to drive into Hastings,St Leonard’s or Bexhill on sea for the beaches or town. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and look forward to going back sometime soon.

We loved every moment in this cosy and comfortable converted farm building! Everything we needed for a relaxing stay with lovely views over the countryside. Also perfect for our visit to Sarah Ravens gardens just under 10mins away. The Byne is well off the main road and very pleasant with the sound of birdsong in the background. Highly recommend to future guests planning a stay in Kent.

I stay here at least once a year, and have done for a few now. The standards in the Annex are very high, always spotless and clean throughout. Everything you need is always there so it's becoming a home from home for me. Unlike other places I have stayed in the standards never drop, and your never taken for granted. Christy and Nick are always welcoming, responsive and above all helpful if needed. I have not met better hosts like these ever. Many thanks for another very pleasant stay, and see you next year if not before.
