Cabin holiday rentals in Danbury

This cottage near the creek exceeded any expectations we had! It was warm, cozy, comfortable and inviting. The type of place that once you walk out back, you don’t want to leave. The property grounds itself were stunning, we enjoyed the trials and the creek running through and enjoyed fishing in the stocked pond. You get privacy and seclusion all with your needs less than a 5 mins drive. I don’t think I could say enough great things about this place. We absolutely will be planning another trip here again! Can’t say thank you enough to the hosts for sharing this great slice of heaven that they have!

Everything was great. Loved the porch and the views. Lots of great extras such as coffee pods, spices, paper products, etc.

May be one of my favorite mountain stays I’ve had! Definitely will be back!

our stay in your cabin was wonderful! we fished a little and took in Mt. Airy and surrounding Fancy Gap and then come back and relaxed in the Hot tub. Cabin was decorated so cute and very clean, will definitely stay again when we are in the area!

everything was as they described it. there were universal setbacks that were out of their control. however they responded immediately and professionally in resolving everything with us. highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our visit! The house was perfect. We were so happy just relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. We lost power only briefly but the generator kicked on so no real interruption. We found it hard to leave and head back home. Thank you for the wine as well as such a beautiful place to spend our vacation.

Lovely cabin home, matching decor, fully stocked, comfy mattresses, and great amenities. Felt private but was close to extracurricular activities we had planned (spa, winery, steakhouse). Enjoyed the hot tub and wanted to have smores at the firepit (compliments of the host!) but the windy weather made a fire unsafe. Maybe next time!

It was incredibly beautiful, my first time in Virginia and this cabin made it feel so cozy and relaxing. The sunrise was beautiful over the mountains and the cabin was very clean and made my stay in Virginia even better!

My dog and I needed a couple days break from reality. This is exactly what we needed. Privacy and Nature. Thank you Josh! You have a beautiful piece of paradise!

This was our first time staying at an AirBnB and will not be our last. We were impressed! Paula’s SheShed was amazing! The view alone was worth it, you feel as if you are on top of the world. The SheShed is rustic looking but that is all that is rustic. It has everything you could ever want and Paula made sure you knew where everything was. She even went as far as leaving us a bottle of wine, glasses and a card from a local winery since she knew we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The place is clean, very well appointed. There is even wood for the fire pit and gas for the grill. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows which is something I’m picky about to my Husbands frustration, lol! If you are going to just relax, explore the area or just vegetate for a few days this is the perfect place. It is quiet and relaxing. Sparta and Mt Airy aren’t far if you need more.

Very nice country cabin, comfortable and peaceful. Family felt right at home in spacious home, back patios best place to chill and enjoy the forested yard.. well equipped kitchen to keep everyone fed. Thanks to Steven for a great place to stay, he was attentive without being intrusive. Wish we could have stay longer.

The cabin was perfection - beautiful and private, it gets bonus points for its comfortable and charming decor. We had a laid back dinner and breakfast on the porch overlooking the creek. My husband, who is an early riser, watched the rising sun hitting the trees from the same spot. The guests at the other cabin were quiet and the cabins are situated in a way that allows for a very private experience in spite of being relatively close together. The bed was super comfortable. All in all, highly recommend. We stayed as a good halfway spot on our way to a wedding but now hope to return and stay to explore the area.

It was a really really wonderful place to get away from everything and just be. I used this time to write music and the acoustics in the church were just incredible. The sounds of the waterfall are so relaxing and the porch is the perfect place to enjoy your meals. Can’t wait to be back and can’t recommend enough!!!

Our group has stayed at this property twice and will likely do so again. Very clean, private, and well-appointed. Chris has been very responsive when needed and we look forward to our next visit.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The rental is very nice and the fenced in backyard with a fire pit was definitely a bonus. Everything was super clean and Eric was very kind and helpful. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here again.

The property was just as described and pictured. Everything was perfectly clean. It's ideal for people looking for a quiet, private place to get away from it all, surrounded by nature.

This was a little gem! It was incredibly clean, quiet, and feels like you’re in a neighborhood of treehouses. It’s perfect for a calm getaway. Most trails, food, shops, etc. take about 20ish minutes to get to but a beautiful little drive wherever you go. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin that was very well appointed. Loved reading about it's history, the location was peaceful, and the hummingbirds a special treat to watch!

Beautiful cabin and pond, my three young granddaughters caught fish, so enjoyed meeting and talking with the hosts. Really a wonderful time. Thanks y'all, looking forward to next time.

If you’re looking to get away from a busy lifestyle & need to unwind , the cabin is the perfect place. Not many places you can lay in bed & watch the sunrise. Truly a very special place & my husband & I feel very blessed to have spent a weekend there.

Beautiful little get away. Went to see hanging rock state park and was the perfect location for a small vacation with the kids. Cabin was great with everything you would need and more inside to feel comfortable.

The Hanging Rock Cabin is absolutely beautiful - inside and out. The pics do not do it justice! A great setup for multiple couples and families with children, lots of kitchen supplies and lots of seating outside. The view of Hanging Rock is stunning. We loved walking around the well-groomed trails on the property and fishing at the pond. The restaurant on the property was also excellent - delicious food and cocktails and a great view. Highly recommend!

My mom and I had a great getaway weekend here escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the cabin itself is very cute and full of fun surprises. Everything was very clean with the exception of the outdoor furniture but it just needed some quick wiping. We also wished there was oil in the torches outside so we could have used them. We spent a lot of time wondering about the history of the cabin - a history book would be great to have for guests to read! Thanks for letting us stay in your adorable cabin - we had an extremely relaxing time.
