Cute spot. Great location. Well equipped.

An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

Always love our stay at Alison’s places in Davis! Great location by restaurants and breweries but extra special due to the view of the river and great outdoor areas to hang out. Very peaceful location but a short walk to town. Can’t beat it. Also dog friendly which is a big plus. Alison bent over backwards to fulfill a special request we had and is always responsive. Easy checkout process too.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blackwater Bed & Bikes. This was our fourth time staying in these apartments, but the first time upstairs in # 6. Wow! What a great place. It would be perfect for two couples. Very spacious, modern, and comfortable, I highly recommend. Everything was exactly as described, the apartment was clean, beds comfortable, and we had another great weekend in Davis. Beautiful all around!! We will definitely be back.

Loved our stay! Lowell was a great host, he was very responsive and accommodating. Great location with beautiful Mountain View’s! Peaceful surroundings and great set up for the house. Felt very homey and great Amenities! Can’t wait to come back for another stay!!

A wonderful stay and somewhat unexpected! Super comfortable stay and had a nice fire by the river out back in one of the fire pits and walked our dogs along the river as well. Also super close to all the restaurants of Davis. We loved it!

Nice flat, good amenities, lively furniture, spacious. Our host was flexible with check in date, which turned out to be a gigantic bonus. Grafton is a nice little town, everything you need if you are working on the road like we were. Recommended.

We needed a place to stay overnight and take a hot shower after a long drive. This lodge has a lot of character since it's been converted from a business of some sort. Bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. Plenty of parking outside. The only sink is in the bathroom, and the shower stall is smaller than standard size. Can easily walk to two restaurants in Durbin and this is very close to great hiking and views. Well off the beaten path so the stars should be excellent, unfortunately it rained the night we stayed. Many local birds singing in the morning.

One of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. She is quick with responding with any questions you may have and gives you plenty of recommendations around the area. She asks you how the stay is throughout the dates you are there. Overall a great host and the property is beautiful.

We enjoyed the lodge, rear apartment. It was a short walk to our family, close to two good restaurants. Spacious, clean and comfortable. When we get the chance to visit family again in Durbin we will hope to book it again.

We spent four awesome nights at the Rambling Rose and loved it. This boho apartment in downtown Davis was perfect. The vintage couch, cool artwork, and eco touches gave it such unique charm. It’s steps from everything in Davis. We walked to dinner, explored shops in Thomas, and hit Canaan Valley and Blackwater Falls. The kitchen was great, beds comfy, and the workspace ideal for a quick Zoom. Luscombe was an awesome host with killer local tips. We’ve totally fallen for this place and can see a lot more time here in our future!

Emily's place is very lovely, if you're looking for peace of mind it's the best option

This home is historic, and while it could use a little extra TLC here and there, it was such a lucky find! Located right next to the river, you can walk the trail that leads to the next town over, plus you can hear it at night when you step out. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and there are space heaters should you get cold at night. The vault was the best part about the house. It was converted into the bathroom, but it was very cool to see what it once looked like. I love peace and quiet and you get exactly that with this home. There are many parks nearby too! You have to go in town for groceries and restaurants, but fortunately it’s a short 5 min drive away. We got to chat with some of the locals and everyone is so kind and warm, It’s absolutely beautiful out here. Even the drives to and from are stunning. We stayed for a month and were very lucky that Emily and Sarah made it affordable to us. This was such a great find.

A homey and affordable option in Davis. It’s a great little town and the Airbnb was very convenient. Rentals are becoming abundant in Davis, this isn’t new and shiny like many, but homey and comfortable. I would argue an Airbnb more of how Davis should be. It’s easy to find and quick to all the adventures the area holds.
