Tenthuis Duinzicht Texel peace, space & privacy

Our Tenthuis is located, completely free, at the back of our private property, a former agricultural company, in a magnificent place on Texel overlooking the dunes where you can see the Scottish Highlanders grazing in the distance. The tent house is made on an old farm wagon with a wood frame with tent canvas. Reuse of materials has been used as much as possible during construction. For extra space, there is a front tent, with a wood stove. Luxury camping with an ultimate outdoor feeling.

We, a family with 4 children (10, 13, 16 and 18 years), have a holiday home next to our house with its own entrance and parking space. The cottage is within walking distance of the charming village center, just like the beach (approximately 500m from the cottage). 750m away is a beautiful hiking and nature reserve the Zwanenwater. Our cozy holiday bungalow in the park "de Watersnip" in the coastal town of Petten is close to the beach and the canals around the park. From the parking lot, you go by a small shell path to our private, hedged retreat. The park de Watersnip, in which our MEERZEIT is located, also has great leisure facilities (pool, etc.) available to our tenants & guests.
