Our log cabin Klein Meerzicht offers comfortable accommodation overlooking the meadows and the Paterswoldsemeer. The space is modernly decorated and has a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed, and in the living room, there is a double sofa bed. There is also WiFi, smart TV, air conditioning and electric heating. Groningen city center is 20 minutes by bike. P+R A28 (transfer/bus station) within walking distance. Train station also in Haren Shops nearby. Supermarket 1000 meters away.

In the cottage you live basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, just landscaped food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, chickens, running, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

The house is of course equipped with internet and TV. There is a lockable bicycle shed with power connection (charging e-Bike)

In the cozy Zuidlaren is our B&B Berend Bedje. Breakfast can be booked for €17.50 per person per night. Are you walking the Pieterpad? Then you only have to walk 9 minutes. The center of Groningen can be reached by bus or car within 20 minutes. Are you looking for peace and nature? Then you can hike and bike beautifully over National Park de Drentsche Aa. The B&B is a detached cottage of 34m2. By means of a sofa bed, it is possible to stay with 4 people. Welcome!

You will stay in a cozy guesthouse with a bathroom and kitchenette including fridge and induction hobs. The silence and the lovely bed will help you start a new day rested. You can use our large natural garden behind the house. It is wonderful to sit by the pond with the storks in the background.

De Hofstee

Geniet van groen, rust en natuurgeluiden in deze in scandinavische stijl verbouwde koeienstal. Met prachtig uitzicht over ons voedselbos kun je de hele avond genieten bij de knusse kampvuurplaats. De zonsondergang kleurt de lucht terwijl vogels zingen. Struin door het weiland en spot wilde dieren. Een plek om gewoon te 'zijn', weg van de drukte. We verwelkomen je graag om onze plek buitenaf met je te delen!

Chateau Weiland is a lovely bright cottage with its own entrance plus views of the greenery. A good bed and nice shower. Equipped with all comforts such as well functioning internet (fiber optic) , an air conditioning,and a kitchenette. When the weather is nice, you can open the doors to the terrace and enjoy the sun on one of the sunbeds in the garden.
