Holiday rentals with a kayak in De Ronde Venen

Lovely character home, very tastefully furnished, very helpful hosts. Superb location and a bonus of a pedal boot which was great to use in this location. We all had wonderful time.

Me and my family had a lovely time at Hannah’s place for New Year’s Eve. The house is located in an idilic part of the beautiful Loenen aan de Vetch. It’s a comfortable place with great facilities for family time: big dining area, sociable big kitchen, big sofa, beautiful features etc. We would love to come back in summer time!!! It must be heaven then! We didn’t met Hannah, but communication was great, really easy, quick and helpful… thank you Hannah!

All in all a great accommodation, modern, beautiful ambience, quiet, the garden with the furniture, the size, the jetty and the canal just great. In addition, the accommodation is very centrally located to take beautiful bike tours, the small town for the small shopping right in front of the door, what more do you need for an extended weekend. . .

Two years ago, during a bike ride along the Vecht, we stood at the drawbridge in Loenen aan de Vecht: “ wow, you will live here!” That's when we didn't know that we were able to experience it for almost a week two years later. Edward's house is a particularly cozy and characteristic house near the bridge on the Vecht. You can enjoy all the boats sailing by for hours on the bench. The house is comfortable, everything is present. Well-equipped kitchen, good beds, cozy decor. The garden is a living space in itself. The immediate surroundings resembles an open-air museum. There is plenty to do, cycling, hiking and of course sailing. Edward responds quickly and has good tips for things to do and where to eat. We've taken advantage of that. We had a great time. Recommended.

Our stay in this lovely villa was truly a highlight! The house is very modern, stylish, and furnished with great attention to detail - we felt completely at home. The peaceful location and the view of the water provided pure relaxation. Ginger and Pepsi, the two cats, were the absolute highlight for us and made our stay even more special! The management was super friendly and helpful, and every question was answered quickly. We’d love to return in summer to enjoy the amazing outdoor activities like the SUP boards. Highly recommended! In a newer and peaceful neighborhood, Marguerite’s place offered us a very private and scenic stay. The bedroom window looked out to the water and we rested well in the super comfortable bed. With the well-equipped kitchen and a supermarket nearby, we enjoyed local cheese, fruits, and yogurt. There’s a local bakery within easy walking distance, we really enjoyed their wholesome breads and pastries. Plus, Marguerite had a gourmet Jura espresso machine in the kitchen filled with beans, it was terrific for coffee drinkers. Take tram 26 to the city and back, it’s convenient and easy. It was truly an amazing stay.

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Great! Very responsive host, accommodation even more beautiful than in the photos, very clean, really great! I recommend it if you want to get away from the city for a few days!

At Wendela and Martin you have a wonderfully quiet (private) place. They live on the road, but they have built a cottage behind them with everything they need. Also a private terrace where it was wonderful to stay in the evening. Wendela and Martin are very friendly, warm welcome with delicious strawberries and cold drinks in the fridge. The cottage is equipped with all comforts and has good beds and a nice shower. We were looking for a place to stay because our son was participating in the Ironman 70.3 and this place is definitely recommended. But it is also a good base for beautiful bike rides. We have therefore had a number of wonderful days.

Lonneke’s place is an absolute dream! Nestled in a quaint town surrounded by beauty. We loved walking around town, visiting the local restaurant, stopping in at the local market for fresh bread, and riding bikes along the canal. It’s the perfect distance from Amsterdam in that you can head into town for the hustle and bustle of the city, and return to a peaceful place to relax and disconnect.

We had wonderful days at Frederika's, the place looks even nicer in real life than on the pictures. Special highlight next to the incredibly beautiful view - the rowing boat! Which we were allowed to rent for free! Small but nice. Would recommend! Note: Wifi is certainly not required in such an environment, but would have made the stay even more pleasant. Thank you!

The Weidehuisje is really a very magical place for relaxation. The view was beautiful on the water and the cows. Schermerhorn is a very sweet place with a fantastic landscape. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need.

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.

We immediately fell in love with this place. A unique spot, this cozy cottage with the green property and a private swimming area. The right place to slow down and relax. We enjoyed jumping into the lake after getting up, having breakfast with a view of the lake and watching the sailors and surfers. The cottage is small, but equipped with everything you need to make your stay pleasant. Rarely have we found such a well-equipped kitchen. The house is also a very good starting point for excursions by bike to the nature reserves, to the sea and to Haarlem (25 - 30 min). Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Ralph is straightforward, always responds very quickly to inquiries and provides us with the necessary information. Adam, his father, who welcomed us and whom we got to know personally, is a very likeable and warm person.

We were there with the family and had a wonderful stay. The house is high-quality, but still functionally furnished. It is very cozy and offers enough space for 6/7 people. There's everything you need!

Marja's place is magical! surrounded by water, farms and fields, perfect for nature lovers. We loved it: Take walks with our three kids with the canoes on loan from Marja and fishing right in front of the house. The proximity to Delft, a city for which we had a real favorite , we really recommend renting bikes and making the bike paths around the city to discover the region . The house looks directly onto a bike path but we didn't mind. The view of the water is so beautiful and offers amazing sunsets. Need to Know: The house is small but sufficient for 5, however you should know that there is only one toilet located directly in the bathroom. The boiler placed behind the wall of the master bedroom can make noise at night, on Marja's advice we turned off the heating at night and this guarantees you peaceful nights. We will be back!!

Wonderful place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our few days in Amsterdam. Lucky enough to have a couple of sunny evenings and mornings to be able to enjoy the beautiful garden area. Cabin is a lovely cosy and a perfect getaway from central Amsterdam but only 10 minutes by bus and very easy to get to. Erik and Jaël were very friendly, would love to return.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

The Kota of Jolanda and Falko is a wonderfully cozy place and nicely decorated. Because it is made of wood, it feels very natural inside and you can relax. The garden is beautifully landscaped with lots of nice corners and beautiful views. Its sunsets are phenomenal! You can walk into the beautiful Zouweboezem in no time. Jolanda and Falko like to think along about beautiful walks and are open for a chat. For fridge and toilet, you have to walk a little bit through the garden. If you adjust to that, that's no problem. The wifi doesn't reach to the Kota right now, but we're still thinking about editing this in the future. By the way, it does offer a chance to really switch off😉. All in all, a nice place with friendly people and a beautiful area.
