Waterfront holiday rentals in De Ronde Venen

Very nice apartment in a very peaceful area. Two bedrooms with big twin beds and private parking spot. Carmen, who handled the practicalities was very polite and quick to answer our questions. The apartment is far from public transport and grocery stores etc. so you need your own car.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung. Unser Sohn war fasziniert vom Hühnerstall und dem Hängebauchschwein, das uns beim Frühstück draussen besuchen kam. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hat uns Hinweise zur Unterkunft und dem Ablauf gegeben. Unser Highlight war die Aussicht aus dem Schlafzimmer aufs Feld und der außenliegende Whirlpool. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, stylisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es war alles da. Die Lage ist top, sehr nah dran an Amsterdam und an Utrecht. Es sind viele Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter. Beste Grüße

We really loved the neighbourhood & Alida's beautiful place. It's very peaceful, family-safe and really beautiful area surrounded by the nature. We walked a lot near her place with our dog and enjoyed the view so much. Everyone seemed nice and friendly. Even it's a bit far from Amsterdam center, we could luckily find the uber/taxi. (30euro uber/80euro taxi to the town) We would love to come back with a car next time :) Her place looked very organized and clean (just the balcony was a bit dusted maybe because of the rain or rainy weather lately) and was so spacious to stay for 3 people. We would never find this type of place at this price in the town.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement à Vinkeveen. L’appartement est encore plus spacieux et lumineux que ce que les photos laissaient paraître. La décoration est soignée, le canapé et la literie très confortables. Le logement est très bien équipé : cuisine fonctionnelle, salle de bain agréable avec baignoire, machine à laver, sèche-linge, linge de maison fourni, etc. Tout est pensé pour un séjour confortable, que ce soit pour quelques jours ou plus longtemps. Le vrai plus, c’est la terrasse privée donnant directement sur l’eau. Un endroit magnifique pour prendre le café le matin ou un verre le soir au coucher du soleil. Le quartier est calme, parfait pour se détendre, et Amsterdam est facilement accessible en 15 minutes en voiture, ce qui permet de profiter de la ville tout en séjournant dans un cadre plus tranquille. Frederique est une hôte réactive et accueillante. Je recommande vivement ce logement et je n’hésiterai pas à revenir.

Bij aankomst was het onduidelijk waar we moesten parkeren, domein was afgesloten voor bewoners met een kaart. Toevallige voorbijganger kon ons helpen. (parkeren langs de straat en zeker betalen voor parkeerticket 3,5€ /24h.) Het appartement was zeer mooi en ruim, groot terras met prachtig uitzicht, grote slaapkamers, propere badkamer en keuken. Het was tijdens ons verblijf ook heel rustig. Gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf de dorpscentrum en vanuit Utrecht. We hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf. We hebben ook lekker gegeten in 'het boothuys', restaurant op 200m van het app.

I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter. The place was close enough to Amsterdam but still in the countryside, which we enjoyed. It was peaceful place in a great location. We drove in the morning to the Metro station (There was plenty of free parking), and in 1/2 hour we were downtown Amsterdam. Happy with my choice. The place was spacious for 2, well equipped, warm, and welcoming.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in der Unterkunft, da wir für einen Konzertbesuch angereist sind. Wir hätten uns aber gewünscht noch einige Tage dranzuhängen, da die Lage und die Unterkunft unglaublich schön waren. Wir wurden herzlichst von Dick und Bianca empfangen und konnten unser E-Auto an der Wohnung laden. Die Nutzung der Fährräder, des Gartens und des Grills waren dann noch ein Add-On dass den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht haben. Die Wohnung war extrem sauber, sodass man sich direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt hat. Wir empfehlen jedem diese Wohnung der eine ruhige Lage in der Natur sucht, und trotzdem die Nähe zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Amsterdam nicht missen will. Danke vielmals für diese schönen zwei Tage bei euch in der Unterkunft!

We really enjoyed our stay! After a long day of traveling, we greatly appreciated the quiet and beautiful surroundings, especially the extremely comfortable beds! The only issue we encountered was that the previous guests had left the downstairs windows open, resulting in a lot of flies inside the house. Esther's team tried to remove as many flies as possible before our arrival, and they provided us with an electric fly swatter to handle the remaining ones. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam or the Abcoude area!

We had a great week at the chalet and really recommend staying there! The environment is very quiet and peaceful with lots of nature. Still you can easily reach cities like Amsterdam quickly. Maurice and Ashley are very kind and caring hostess, they always replied immediately to our messages.

Wir hatten tolle Tage im Haus von Richard! Die Lage ist exzellent, schön ruhig und mit dem See natürlich super zum erfrischen. Wir hatten das Boot dazu gemietet und auch eine schöne Zeit auf dem Wasser und dem größeren See verbracht. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, klimatisierte Räume waren perfekt an den heißen Tagen. Das zusammensitzen auf der Terrasse am See am Abend, super! Mit dem Haus macht man absolut nichts falsch und würden es immer wieder buchen.

Anna et Ruud sont des hôtes très attentifs et bienveillants. Ils sont accueillants et veillent au bien être de leurs locataires. La maison est superbe, décorée avec goût. La vue sur la rivière est splendide. Admirer les couchers de soleils depuis la maison ou la petite terrasse au bord de l'eau en prenant l'apéritif est exceptionnel. La literie est très confortable, il y a des moustiquaires dans les chambres, permettant d'ouvrir sans difficulté les fenêtres la nuit. La cuisine et la buanderie sont très bien équipées. L'endroit est très calme au milieu de la nature et des animaux. Vous n'êtes pas loin des parkings P+R d'Amsterdam, ainsi que de plusieurs autres jolies villes alentours. Anna vous indique plein d'informations dans un classeur. Les supermarchés sont à moins de 10 minutes en voiture, on roule doucement et on profite ;-) L'accès à la maison avec une boîte à clés est très pratique. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour chez Anna et Ruud et les remercions pour leur accueil.

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

Morningstar is a beautiful place to stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location could not be better. It is right across the canal from The Ann Frank house. There are many wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby. The hosts have thought of everything. I would highly recommend to anyone!

John has been a brilliant host throughout our stay. He provided very helpful and clear information on getting to and into the property and advice on local restaurants. The property is ideal for a stay in Amsterdam and just as described on Airbnb. The area is upmarket, residential but still buzzy. The views of the river are outstanding. I highly recommend it.
