House holiday rentals in Del Monte Forest

This place was exactly what my family needed for our beach getaway! The layout of the house is so cozy and it felt like a home away from home. The 180’ of ocean views was truly amazing. We watched a pod of humpback whales go back and forth throughout the day and got to watch a feeding frenzy of thousands of birds all from the balcony! We drove 20 minutes to Henry Cowell Redwoods State park and walked around Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz. From the spot we walked to the beach (with all our boogie boards, sand toys, towels, umbrella, etc.), took advantage of Venus’ happy hour and really didn’t need to use our car for two days! This will definitely be a spot we stay at again!

We had a really lovely stay at Lisa's place. The setting is really beautiful and peaceful and the space is lovely and cosy. There were lots of thoughtful touches and Lisa was super friendly and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Sean's place. The house is so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the large kitchen; it never felt crowded, even with a few of us in there at once. We also really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was with all the pots, pans, plates, and other essentials we needed. Our kids absolutely adored the pool area! It was beautiful and private, and they had so much fun with the basketball hoop. They also loved watching the hummingbirds at the backyard water fountain and the rabbits hopping around in the garden. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks for hosting us!

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

We were in town for a weekend of trail racing and Valentina's place was perfect. It was less than a mile from our event at Toro Park and on a nice, quiet street. The place was very comfortable and the outdoor area was excellent for recovery and relaxing on Saturday. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for 5 of us. Valentina was very responsive throughout the entire process, I really appreciated her. Great place to stay!

We had a very peaceful stay :) Daniel's recommendations were very helpful. We enjoyed a lot of local hiking - definitely looking forward to staying here again.

We loved our stay in this cute house! The yard was a dream! Peaceful and beautiful but only a 10-12 min walk to downtown. The house was stocked, clean and comfy. We had a family of 4 and it was a little tight but we made it work. We'd definitely recommend this home!

We had such a great stay at Hirsh’s place! He was an amazing host—super communicative and thoughtful. He sent detailed instructions well ahead of time, which made check-in a breeze, and even checked in periodically just to make sure we were doing okay. The house was exactly as described—maybe a little dated, but honestly, it was spotless, really well cared for, and beautifully furnished. You can tell a lot of love and attention went into the space. It felt incredibly warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. Location-wise, it was perfect—right between Carmel and Monterey, so everything we wanted to do was super accessible. The house itself had everything we needed and more: hot water with great pressure, tons of towels and bedding, strong Wi-Fi, and even a Blackstone griddle, which was a nice bonus! We absolutely loved staying here. It was the perfect home base for our first trip to Monterey, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! In fact, my husband loved it so much that he joked that we should consider getting a place in Carmel Valley one day, just like this one! The house itself is beautifully laid out, well appointed, and impeccably designed. The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning. We brought our little one with us, and there were so many toys and books and a dedicated kids room to keep her entertained! Location was great as well - downtown was only a few minutes drive away, with access to cute wine tasting rooms and restaurants. Overall, we loved this place and would absolutely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay: the home is clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five of us in the three bedrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances and tools you’d need to cook and enjoy a meal in the kitchen or outside in the backyard. Access to the community and house was easy.

Dany's place was a cute little spot away from the hustle and bustle with quick and easy access to the freeway or downtown. It's about a 0.8 mile walk to the center of downtown but with 2 hr parking, it's only a quick drive. The place itself is cute and clean. There were some slight furniture changes that I was informed of right after booking (no more couch which allowed for more room to move around). The bathroom was nice and clean and had toiletries and linens available. There's a good sized mini fridge and plenty of plastic ware/napkins/coffee fixins. Bedding was clean and the design of the place is cute. Parking was next to a fenace and tight for the passengers side and the gate to the backyard was a bit tough to open and close. Note that this unit is attached to the rest of the house. You can hear some footsteps but nothing too noisy. While a fan is provided, I'd recommend cracking open a window for better air flow since I don't think there's central air.

Amazing views and a peaceful location—waking up to the ocean and wildlife was unforgettable. This was our hub for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. A short 30-40 minute drive to Big Sur for hikes, and just 10 mins to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for great dinners. There’s also a handy general store at the bottom of the hill. A couple of notes: This is one of 4 units on the property. While listed as “entire home,” there’s a unit attached at the rear with a door that opens directly into your space through a hallway (for my wife’s peace of mind, we kept our bedroom door locked at night). Another unit is above, and one more is detached in front. That said, everyone keeps to themselves, and interaction is minimal besides maneuvering past their parked cars in the driveway. Also, screenshot the address and key code—cell service drops near the hill and the turnoff into the property is easy to miss in the dark the first time around. Thanks for hosting us, Emily & Mason! We loved it.

Very communicative, helpful instructions, flexible on check in. Probably would’ve been very responsive if I needed assistance with anything, but we were all set with the instructions given!

Great location. Walkable to beach & Mission. Only really good for 2 adults - not 2 adults & 2 kids. The Futon sleeper was very small and not in good shape. Pillows need replacing! Nice outdoor area for relaxing.

Lovely, cozy, artisticly designed 6 person home with vibrant atmosphere. Clean, relaxing jacuzzi which required 2 people to remove and replace cover to use. We especially appreciated the food, snacks, and beverages provided by host.

Eric was an amazing host. He responded to all questions within minutes. The location was perfect. A quick drive to downtown Carmel, restaurants, beaches and the aquarium. The adults and two grandkids all had a great time. The sauna was also a great touch and used everyday.

We had such a great time at Marianne’s place. It was easy to walk to Lover’s Point, Cannery Row, and downtown PG. The view from the balcony is amazing, we even spotted some whales from out there. The kitchen was well stocked and I appreciated having a dishwasher. Having a washer and dryer at the house was great after spending days at the beach. We enjoyed cozying up by the fire at the end of the day. Marianne was always responsive and friendly. I’d highly recommend staying at this house!
