Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Del Monte Forest

This is our second time coming back. Can't praise enough what his place has to offer. Highly recommend.

The place was great, literally across the street from the beach, super clean and comfortable, and the best part was the kayak, which we took out in the morning and we were able to see dolphins, sea lions, and otters fantastic!!

We selected the home to celebrate a 60th birthday with siblings. It was perfect for our group of five. We walked (and ran) on the beach, did puzzles, made meals together, and spent quality time just hanging out. Kitchen has everything one could need. Plenty of supplies. Clear instructions and expectations. We’d absolutely return.

We had a wonderful stay in Monterey, and Sean was an exceptional host from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive, always quick to reply to any questions, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. His local tips were super helpful and made our trip even more enjoyable. The space was just as described: clean, well kept, and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again. We had a great time at this airbnb. Everything was clean, neatly organized and welcoming. The place was in a safe and quiet area too. Kylie went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and was very responsive. We would definitely come back to this airbnb when in the area again in the future. Thank you!

This was our second stay at the Endless Summer home - our first visit was with a group of friends, and this time we returned as a family with our toddler. The home truly has something for everyone, whether you’re traveling with friends or with kids. It’s clear the space is well-loved and thoughtfully cared for. The location is unbeatable, and we’re especially grateful to Ellen and her co-host for making the home so welcoming for our little one. It was thoughtfully equipped for a toddler, and walking in felt like a warm, familiar greeting. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We had a great stay at Santosh’s place! He was kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful—especially when we encountered a small issue with the heater on our last night. He quickly called and had his property manager bring over space heaters, and checked in to make sure we were comfortable. The home was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the hospitality and will definitely stay again in the future!

The location is beautiful. The house had high end finishes throughout. The bed was comfortable. Outdoor spaces were great. Private patio in front. Back deck and lower fire pit area fabulous with great view. Very relaxing. The location was great for going to Carmel or Monterey. Very central . Great hosts. I wasn’t used to communicating strictly through the app. I missed a lot of info. Used to email ,etc. Be sure and get directions from host. Our GPS took us to the wrong place. Be aware there is a check in time frame. Again there were instructions in the app communication that I missed. The hosts live down the hill on the property. Very friendly and helpful. A fabulous stay. Will be back You still have plenty of privacy at the house.

This spot was great for a weekend getaway! Right at the start of Lighthouse Ave where all the shops and restaurants are located. We were able to walk to the beach as well which was lovely. My partner and I felt extremely safe walking around at night as well. The space was very clean and cozy. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Monterey area. We’ll definitely be back as well:)

Michele's rental apartment was charming and the decor inspired by Paris was delightfully whimsical. The kitchen was well equipped - perfect for our short stay. Also, there was a small balcony which was ideal for dining. The grounds had beautiful flowers. Michele was always available to answer our questions. Thank you Michele!

Overall we had a great time at ORV rental. We know the area well and love to visit for the day but this trip we wanted to stay for a couple of days. The apartment was well decorated and very clean. We did have trouble finding the 4 accommodating bath towels for our party of 4 but eventually did locate the remaining two towels. The adjoining guests in the apartment next door were quite loud and the sound very easily traveled into our unit. There’s not much that can be done about that at this point but something to be aware of. Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Fidel’s place and it was truly a wonderful stay. It was very close to Monterey and Carmel. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

Perfect, relaxed retreat for two people. The space was cozy, cute small kitchen, patio to eat on. Up in the trees. Beautiful neighborhood which was close to Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel. Literally one turn from 17 Mile Drive. We hiked, snorkeled, sea kayaked, went to farmer's markets, all an easy drive from this accommodation. We cooked each night on the small kitchen and it had everything we needed. Russell was a great host!

We had a very peaceful stay at Michael’s place in the mountains and Michael was friendly and helpful in checking us in and providing recommendations for good places nearby. It was nice to sit out on the property too and enjoy the beautiful views. Would stay there again!

The studio is well laid out and has high quality cabinets and furniture. It had the best stocked kitchen we have seen in an Airbnb. The views were very nice. The skylights were great. So much natural light. Parking on the street was OK. Definitely hope to stay again.

Quiet, peaceful, quaint apartment. Felt very cozy & welcoming. Good location to explore Monterey & surrounding area. Full kitchen, comfy bed, very tasteful antique decor. Lovely courtyard, felt very safe. Street parking. Leo’s is a very responsive host.

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and Pacific Ocean. Short walk (300 yards) to the beach along a boardwalk or enjoy the views from the livingroom through the large picture windows or deck. Perfect for a couple or young family (the two twin beds in the second bedroom are quite small but my 20 something daughters had no complaints). Abundant bird watching opportunities along with the occasional sea lion\seal and otter.

This stay is absolutely amazing. Comfy bed and furniture. Stocked Kitchen. Steps to the beach. Closet full of beachy things. We had fun flying the kite. Built bonfires just over the dune on the beach. 🏖️ Don’t hesitate to book. This place is it.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The pictures didn't do it justice - all the upgrades were well worth it and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. My was very responsive and helpful. So glad we found it! Would definitely stay there again.

Staying at this Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and thoughtfulness—fresh local flowers, many beautiful books related to the neighborhood in reading material. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, with everything I could need—toiletries to fast Wi-Fi .The host went above and beyond, checking in to ensure everything was perfect. It felt less like a rental and more like a five-star boutique hotel with the heart of a home. I truly didn’t want to leave!” This is a real heartfelt space in the middle of my home town that provided the soulful connection to home.

Lisa was very friendly and responsive. She not only provided clear instructions, flexible check-in, but also shared many great local dinning options, which were super helpful for our family of five. The condo was kept spotless with comfortable king size bed, bunkbed that my boys love, a beautiful swirling love seat that my daughter loved to sit in while watching sea birds catching fish using the binocular provided! Our family specifically loved the fireplace on the balcony. It was just perfect for us to enjoy the cozy night chatting and laughing by the fire while listening to the ocean waves NorCal beaches can be very chilling at night. The outdoor fireplace is such a thoughtful amenity. THANK YOU, Lisa!

We’ve stayed at Pajaro Dunes before, but it’s been decades ago. Marc’s place was perfectly situated for privacy and views and was very clean and well appointed. The peacefulness and serenity were exactly what we were looking for. The beachy feel of the furnishings was charming and the unit included all that we needed including an upgraded and well furnished kitchen, a gas fireplace, a comfortable, king size bed and other essentials like extra blankets and a Kuerig coffee maker. Our only difficulty was when inadvertently trying to use the TV remote to change channels…Don’t Do That, Use the cable remote like it says in the instructions. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable four days here with side trips to Monterey and Carmel. Perfect home base for dining out and exploring the coast, and an excellent, proactive host.

This place was amazing, we could hear the ocean when going to bed at night. My wife loved it, would definitely come back!

This home is amazing. Looked even better than the photos showed. The view is to die for. I literally could have stayed there all day just gazing at the sea. Lots of space , comfortable settee. Kitchen great. Loved the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Plenty of towels. Parking outside was great. Short walk to a lovely beach. 10 mins to Capitola. 15 mins to Santa Cruz Living in the UK I don’t know when we will be back in California but if we do this is the only home I want to stay in. Loved every minute here and was sorry to leave.
