Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Des Moines

This house is really cool. We felt like we would find new things to look at each day. We thought the upstairs room was the coolest. We loved the shape of it. It was hot this weekend but the backyard has a wonderful tree shade so we were able to enjoy the evenings outside relaxing after a long day of working the convention. I would stay here again for sure. Side note - the Dinotopia book on the coffee table took me back to my childhood. Loved seeing that.

Excellent house. Easy to walk to local coffee shops and several breweries and restaurants. Very modern, clean and stylish house. Plenty of space. Great lighting and so many great picture windows. Safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We enjoyed it and will stay again. Thank you!!

Very cute place! We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, kid friendly. We did not have small children but noticed that were many amenities for kids (toys, dishes, fold away crib.).

An Absolutely Perfect Hub for Our Speech and Debate Team! This Airbnb was nothing short of fabulous, serving as the ideal "hub" for our speech and debate team this year! The layout was perfect, offering two distinct areas for practice sessions in addition to the comfortable bedrooms. The house itself was immaculate – a truly spotless environment that made our stay incredibly comfortable. We particularly appreciated the luxurious touches, from the plush linens and comfortable beds to the generous supply of towels and washcloths. The beautiful kitchen was another huge plus, easily accommodating the task of feeding our entire team. Scott went above and beyond, providing a helpful binder filled with local restaurant recommendations. We also loved the convenient location, just a three-minute drive from a grocery store. Communication with Scott was excellent; he was consistently responsive and answered all our questions quickly. The outdoor space was nice too!

I stayed here while in town for my nursing clinicals, and this place was a total lifesaver! My clinical site was only 3–5 minutes away walking, which made everything so convenient. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and peaceful… such a nice escape after long days. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always getting back to me quickly and making everything feel smooth and stress free. Even though I came for work, it truly felt like a relaxing retreat. I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! :)

Staying with Susie is now a yearly trip for us. She is an amazing host and you cannot beat the charm of the town. My daughter looks forward to this stay more than any other we take. Can’t recommend staying here enough.

Walking distance to Drake making it perfect for parents visiting for sporting events or for graduations.

When we checked in we had a quick concern with a slight odor, Dan was quick to respond and fixed it first thing in the morning. He was friendly and easy to work with. The unit itself was great, it was very secure with several areas where a key fob was required to access the floors, it was clean, and an overall great place. Very happy with Dan and the location.

Angela’s place is beautiful. Clean, cozy, quiet. I only wish I could have stayed longer and fully enjoyed the yard and amenities. Definitely recommend!

The condo was amazing. Well furnished and comfortable beds. Lots of room to spread out. The rooftop area was pretty. The only negatives are that there is no front door…the only entrance is a steep garage. I’m not sure I knew that. Also, the k cup part of the coffee station was not working and the garbage disposal isn’t working.

Great location for where we needed to be! We had an issue with from door lock upon arrival but Amanda provided us a workaround immediately and it was great after that! Nice place. Quiet! Love the ground level!
