Quiet and peaceful. 1 hour 15 min from Kona and same from Hilo. Best to get supplies in Kona or Hilo as no grocery stores in Na'alehu. Is 40 minutes to the Volcano Ntl. Park and 15 min to the Punaluu Black Sand Beach, 15 min to South Point and Green Sands Beach. There is no Wi-Fi ~ cell service works great in the area.

The treehouse is truly one of a kind!! It is definitely secret, and exactly as pictured. Perfect getaway and a super cool place to hang out if you’re looking for nature and peace! Super close to volcano national park. Was worried about food spots, but there was a great Thai place just 9 minutes away! Highly recommend just to check out the talent of the people that put this thing together. Jerry was also super helpful for anything and everything we needed the entire time!

Andrew and Jen were perfect hosts. Clear instructions, easy to follow, and great communication throughout. I loved how the ohana is set up. It was thoughtful and comfortable. And that bidet... I’m in love! They made sure everything was ready for a great stay. The ohana had everything we needed, and they also made beach towels and snorkeling gear available. Their recommendations were super helpful, and they checked in to make sure we were doing okay. If you want a calm environment and a great view, this is your place. I’d definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay! Spotless clean, great location on the south of the island. The house feels new, as mentioned in the description! Great local places to visit nearby, which you can find in the host’s guidebook. Close to Volcanoes National Park, Black and Green Sands beaches. Peaceful and relaxing, but not too remote to miss any activities. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible time and felt so at home in this beautiful place. Hosts were responsive and made everything easy. Neighborhood is quiet outside a small village far from any hustle and bustle, but easy drives to do and see the wonders of the island. House was immaculate but felt like a home, not the gray, generic cookie cutter of so many places. Truly heaven on Earth. Wish we could have stayed forever.
