We had a great time at Rocky's place. The property was beautiful, private and comfortable. The home had everything we needed and more. It was centrally located and nice to be so close to the local mountain store and the lake. Rocky and Sean were very responsive and we greatly appreciated it! We would definitely book this property again!

Lovely and intimate home, squeaky clean with all the amenities you could need and touch of that rustic charm you go to the Sierras for. The Casita allows for privacy (and keeping snorers apart) while functioning as a nice little hangout and sunroom in its own right. Rebecca is an excellent and responsive host as well - you can trust her recommendations. I went for the peace and quiet and got exactly what I was looking for. Spent a wonderful few days reading and working on crafting hobbies with the music of raindrops and the warmth of the gas stove heater. Being able to see neighboring properties kept it from feeling isolated, while the pitch black nights and silence helped feel remote. I would advise planning your meals and bringing supplies, since weather can make getting into town a bit harder, but if you don't, the Mother Truckers convenience store has everything you could need, from fresh produce to organic ice cream.

I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just enjoy the simple pleasures of life

I stayed at Mark and Joanna's dreamy bluebird cottage for 8 nights to reconnect with friends and family. Mark and Joanna's cottage is not only tasteful, comfortable, handcrafted, and above all joyful, the incredible hospitality and attention to detail they provide is truly a lost art. We especially enjoyed getting to know Joanna and Mark, eating homemade banana bread muffins on the porch, bird watching and reading at the window seat, and exploring nearby lakes, rivers, and wineries. Looking forward to my next stay at bluebird cottage!
