Hello, the apartment is located in a place on the north side of the Thuringian Forest. It is ideal for cyclists, hikers and skiers. We have a year-round ski hall for cross-country skiers and those who want to become one, not far from the apartment in the beautiful Oberhof. The apartment is new and modernly furnished. A fully equipped kitchen is available for guests. It has a garage and a seating area on the terrace for cozy sitting in the evening.

Since we as a young family have not found a suitably equipped apartment for us for a long time when we came to visit, we have set up our own, which meets (almost) all needs. Solo travelers, couples, friends as well as families with (small) children and pets should feel a bit at home in this retreat, which has been furnished with a lot of time and love.

You won't find accommodation like this, which is both historic and unique, again anytime soon. The loft-like apartment has a main room with sleeping area, freestanding bathtub and a shower in the stone! In the entrance area there is a dining area and kitchenette. The toilet with sink is housed in the former tower. Cities such as Bamberg, Bayreuth, Kronach, Kulmbach, Coburg & Bad Staffelstein can be reached within half an hour.

I offer a vacation rental in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except salt, pepper and oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfeld can be reached on foot and there is free parking behind the house. Opposite is another (1 room) apartment that I also rent via Airbnb. When booking the property for tourist activities, a tourist tax is due. The parking is monitored by cameras.

Our property is located in the middle of nature on the outskirts of Dittrichshütte, a village at an altitude of 600 meters. It is very quiet with us, as the road is hardly used. As a starting point for hikes and sporty mountain bike or motorcycle tours, the accommodation is very good.
