Holiday rentals with a sauna in Downtown Detroit

We needed three bedrooms for our stay, and Ian offered two separate units: the Zen Suite (one bedroom) located above the Cook Suite (two bedrooms). Each suite has its own separate entrance, which was OK with us. Both suites were clean and comfortable, and I particularly liked the interior design. The Zen Suite also had a hot tub on the large patio, which was a highlight of our stay. Check-in was easy. There's a nice grocery store just across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

Very nice apartment, great location. I stayed during the winter and I was very cozy inside. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Really nice spot. Walking down to the Eastern Market on Saturday morning and being able to make breakfast right in the kitchen was amazing. Really great views of the whole city and a beautiful apartment with access to a huge terrace.

This place is super cute, clean and close to lots of restaurants and things to do. Definitely worth the stay.

Nice apartment in a nice area. Everything in Royal Oak is about a 10/15 min walk. Drive to downtown Detroit is around 15 minutes

Our host Ian is excellent and communicated perfectly. The rental is an awesome space to enjoy and is walkable to local shops and restaurants as well a very very short trip to downtown Royal Oak. Excellent area. We were able to enjoy the roof deck hot tub which was an excellent bonus during our stay. I definitely recommend if this space fits what you’re looking for. Again, excellent hosts. We will consider coming back.

Awesome place! Definitely one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. Nicole really thinks of everything. Plenty of supplies and even a nice gift basket to start the stay. It’s also honestly decorated really cool. Lots of art and plenty of books that will keep you busy for years. Everything was clean and just really pleasant all together. Nicole was super chill about having my gf over as well which was really nice of her. I tried to extend for another month but it was already booked unfortunately. Great for long term stays. Thanks Nicole you rock!

You will love that it has a driveway, that you can pull in and leave without backing up. The home is bright and cheery. When you walk in, you see that it is just like the listing and better. The decor is soothing to the eyes throughout the home. I felt secure the very first night being there. We enjoyed their private patio with a firepit. It is definitely an all season home to enjoy all year. For young kids it has a bright, clean & spacious basement with pool table that converts to a ping pong table, air hockey table and an electric basket ball hoop arcade game for several to play. My stay here was for 4 weeks and I did not want to leave. I have put this Airbnb in my phone as a place that I want to comeback to again! Ian was very helpful throughout the process and the house is amazing. This is a great place to stay. It’s very close to the downtown area with lots to do. Checkout was extremely easy as well. Had a great time, thank you Ian!

The area is lovely, safe, and conveniently located. If cleaniness and safety are important to you, this place provides that. There is even a small nearby park for walking.
