There are lovely walking routes to Damflask reservoir from the accommodation. The Peak District is a short drive away, with nearby Bradfield being a picturesque area to explore. Shops, cafes and pubs are in nearby Stannington. There is very little noise here except for birdsong and the occasional mooing from neighbouring farms.

Near Resturant’s , coffee shops and yet not far from the Peak District in one direction and 10 minute walk to the university and teaching hospital . Inside: private and self-contained . ‘Top O' Th Hill Farm’ is nestled at the end of the infamous 'Hill Street', home to ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ characters, Howard, Pearl and Clegg. The grade II listed farm dates back to 1750 offers an authentic and cosy retreat, steeped in period features and set in 6 acres of woodland and meadows. The farm offers a peaceful elevated south facing location above the sleepy old village of Jackson Bridge with outstanding views across the valley and within 2 miles of Holmfirth.

On the edge of the Peak District yet close to the City of Sheffield, Charlesworth’s offers the best of both worlds! Beautiful country walks and several pubs on the doorstep, or a short drive to climbing at Stanage, and Bamford edges. For cyclists, Charlesworth’s is close to ‘Le Tour’ routes. Chatsworth House, Buxton, snooker at the Crucible, and the Tramlines Festival are all easily reached. Families, contractors and dogs are very welcome in this light and spacious cottage.

Situated on the North West edge of Sheffield, we are in the Peak District, with superb walks, reservoirs, pubs, a golf course and more just a few minutes away. We are also close to halls of residence for Sheffield universities, with a bus stop at the bottom of the drive for jaunts into town. The accommodation is a self contained apartment above our detatched garage, with its own access and everything you need for a getaway in the peaks.
