We had a great stay at Amy’s location. Absolutely loved the style of the flat, and everything was clean and in great condition. The location was great for us, we walked into the centre a few times and used Uber to get home, which cost around £5. Amy offered great recommendations. We loved the fireplace and made us feel right at home. We also made use of the games that were left. It was such a kind touch of the hosts to leave us some treats too, which were very much appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay, and would love to come back. Thank you so much, and Happy New Year 😊

This was my first stay at Roker apartments and it mot disappoint! It was spotless, we were well informed every step of the way, Ivan is a fantastic host and nothing is too trouble, I really hope this apartment is available on my next trip to roker!

I had a wonderful experience in this penthouse with a sea view. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the view is absolutely stunning. The interior is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal for relaxation, peace, and special moments. I would definitely come back!

I returned "home" to Durham as part of my sabbatical from my work in Australia. I was looking for a place close to the city, but also quiet and peaceful too. Chris' place was exactly what I was looking for. If you are lucky enough to experience the beautiful spring weather, as I did, you can enjoy sitting on the terrace watching, the ducks, rowing boats and life in general sail by. It is simply picture perfect! The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you could ever want! The beds are clean and comfortable and I slept better than I have in any other space that is not home! I would highly recommend and hope to back soon. If you are considering Chris' place - look no further. Just do it. You will not regret it!

Great location, good base for exploring area, trains, buses etc. Flat had all I needed, wanted for nothing, comfortable, warm. Overall peaceful but near lots of pubs, bar, market etc

Great location and great host! It’s a lovely place to stay for a long weekend which was walking distance to the city. The flat had a modern style and well thought out layout for a small area. All appliances were so easy to use and really had everything you needed. The host was very responsive and even phoned to let me know about early check in if I wanted it.

Third stay at Lady Rhoda! One of the best air b and bs we have ever stayed in. We stayed with our toddler and our baby. We were able to borrow the cot - a very good one too- and it was really easy to get the buggy inside! We have never had a problem with parking either and always manage to get the spot right outside! We will be back again! Thank you!

It's a lovely well-appointed ground floor apartment just across the river from the cathedral. Apart from the calming chimes of nearby St Oswald's Church, it's a lovely quiet space with a large comfy bed and excellent overhead shower.

A lovely place to stay. The place itself was exactly as described and beautiful, and the hosts were super helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Booked as I was working in the area and bored of hotels. It made a few days working away bearable. The apartment was exactly as described, immaculately clean and modern. Once inside it's really private no noise, and very calm decor. Kathryn was really responsive and keen to ensure I was comfortable and all needs met. Will definitely be booking again when staying in the North East for work, a lovely home away from home.

We stayed here for two nights while walking the Pennine Way. It was perfect for our rest day, ideally situated in the middle of Hawes. The combined lounge and bedroom was very comfortable and the small kitchen had everything we needed, as well as a nice view of the fells to the north. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!

What a find, we were delighted with Helen’s place. Helen was very responsive to our questions and the inclusion of thoughtful extras like milk and biscuits was very welcome. It is ideally placed, close to shops restaurants and the beaches. Helen’s place was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. We would definitely recommend and return.

Honestly the photos don’t do this place justice at all , it’s perfect for what you mean and want / is as stated but you’ll be impressed if you book it based on the photos like I did and then you see it in person so much better so much bigger than I expected too. Deb super helpful and responsive host great communication skills. & yeah would defo be interested in coming back to this airbnb:). X

Jean is an amazing host and definitely goes above and beyond for what she does and provides in her accommodation. You just literally need to turn up with your clothes as everything you need is supplied within the apartment. From shaving accessories to biscuits and cakes. The accommodation is set in a lovely area of Sunderland very beautiful and peaceful we didn’t hear any road noise or any noise from the neighbours it was great. I can recommend the Rosedene pub it’s about a 10min walk there is also bar at the local cricket club which is open to the public was lucky enough to catch the ending of a game during our stay. We will definitely be back to see Jean very soon we didn’t want to leave.

John was very responsive and instructions were clear. The apartment is on the third floor(staircase only) of a beautiful sea frontage character building which overlooks the promenade and lighthouse. There is a lovely park next door which was a great early morning walk as well. Restaurants , bars all nearby but area very quiet during our stay. The apartment was well fitted out, great kitchen, and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this stay

A home from home with a lovely view from the living room balcony doors. The setting is so peaceful but so close to the lovely town centre and great to have a parking space with the apartment. Lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby. We would definitely come back!

Rod was a fantastic host, clear instructions and very friendly. The apartment was very clean and really spacious. The beds are super comfy and we all slept well. Lovely apartment, quiet, so cozy and had everything you need for a short stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. So close to the Metro with links to Newcastle City Centre and on to the airport. So handy, no need for a car. Welcome pack was a lovely touch😊

Wow! The apartment is absolutely stunning. Although the photos are accurate and it looks lovely we were still surprised at just how beautiful it is. I took my parents with myself and my 11 year old and we had more than enough space. It is also well equipped with tasteful decor. Aileen went out of her way to communicate with me before, during and even after we left as I left a few belongings. We had the opportunity to meet her and Ben who were both lovely. Ann, the next door neighbour was also extremely helpful and really lovely to chat to. We will definitely return. We love the local area. Lots to see and do and such gorgeous scenery. Thankyou so much 😊
