We loved our stay at The Old Dairy, located in a picturesque part of the Surry Hills. Gill is a warm and helpful host and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Lots to do in the area, beautiful walking trails, ideal for families. Would stay here again!

Wonderful quirky house full of charm and character. We had a brilliant stay. Kids loved exploring the house and beautiful garden. In the words of my 5 year old, “best house ever!!!”. Nestled in the South Downs, a few miles north of Brighton, in a quintessential English village, We found The Granary, here to spend some time with our adult children and grandchildren. The house is absolutely gorgeous, the kitchen is huge and well equipped, but the star is the lounge, high ceilings with oak beams. But the house is only part of the story, stroll around the beautiful, extensive grounds you will feel like lord and lady of the manor!

The photos really don’t do it justice, such beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. The cottage garden is gorgeous and her sweet little dog came to say hello. Annabel had put fresh flowers in the house as well as welcome treats and milk etc in the fridge. The nicest touches which were hugely appreciated. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a relaxing short break at Rushmere. The accommodation was very clean throughout and has everything you might need. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

We loved our stay in this unusual property set in such a beautiful location. Gordon and Marya were great hosts. Very friendly and responsive if we needed something but respected our privacy at the same time. It was easy to find and was exactly what was described in the listing. Our dog felt at home and settled quickly and loved the beach walks and discovering the South Downs. Thank you for making us feel so at home.

My stay at Owl Barn couldn't have been bettered. It was superb. Absolutely outstanding. A beautiful barn conversion, done and equipped to the highest standard. Exquisitely beautiful, comfortable, private, quiet, peaceful, with green surroundings and good walks down country lanes and across farmland. Mark was friendly, kind, helpful, quick to respond to any queries, and gave me a guided tour of the place when I arrived, walking through what was where. I could have my dog with me too, which was an extra bonus, making the Barn perfect for us. Own Barn was equipped with an information folder, full of helpful and relevant info. Both Mark and his wife Carol have helped me out in the days following my stay as I was moving into the area and looking for contacts and recommendations relating to my new house. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful and finding Owl Barn for this stay was an absolute godsend.

The clever architectural design has created a stunning barn conversion. This is complimented by the carefully chosen fixtures and fittings and the warm but understated colour palette. The kitchen dining lounge space has some quirky and rustic touches and is a lovely room in which to gather. There were some very thoughtful welcome gifts left for us and everything you need is provided for cooking and eating. The 3 en-suite bedrooms are all fabulous and the kids twin was accessed by a ladder, with its own shower room below. This end of the barn can be closed off for some privacy and has its own kitchenette, sofa and TV. The barn is warm and quiet and private even though the main farmhouse is right next door. The hosts are unobtrusive but there if you need anything. Our party of 6 adults, 2 young boys and a baby worked well in the space. We loved West Wittering Beach, the Itchenor Ferry and walk to Bosham and pottering around Chichester. The barn was so lovely that it was hard to leave!

We loved every minute of our stay at Foxtrot. Shelagh is such a lovely lady who has a fantastic eye for detail and really looks after her guests. We were expecting a small space and just needed a bed for a couple of nights, but it was so gorgeous that we didn’t want to leave. It was all so beautifully designed and tastefully done with absolutely everything we could possibly need. We woke up to see the sheep and birds through the patio doors and could sit outside or inside to watch them. We then discovered a pair of binoculars and ID guide and a book with bird calls to help us identify everything. Highly recommended in every aspect - not enough characters available to tell you everything - just stay and be delighted! Shelagh has a small pottery studio next door and makes the most beautiful mugs and jugs which are very reasonably priced and are for sale as well as for use in the cottage.

Thank you for a really fantastic stay! Guy’s Airbnb is truly exceptional - wonderful garden, beautifully furnished and fully equipped space, set right next to the magnificent Black Down. A great base for walks and enjoying a break from the city. Communication was straightforward and some essentials in the fridge and cake left for guests on arrival were a very thoughtful touch. We are already looking forward to coming back!

We had a great weekend away staying in Amanda and Ben’s boutique barn. The accommodation was beautifully presented, and well thought out. It felt like a home from home. On arrival, there was a welcome basket full of treats, and some necessities left in the fridge. It’s within walking distance of the river and 20 minutes from the New forest! A truly magical weekend. an amazing barn stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. Super kitchen as we love to cook. Very modern place and I downloaded an app to turn on/off lights. Lots of room, comfy bed and fantastic en suite. Lovely outside seating in private garden and a bbq if needed. Extremely small village which only has a pub but it's only 5 minutes walk. This is a place for people who love a relaxing tranquil stay. Would definitely recommend.

Ingrids place is probably one of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. The location is idyllic, completely surrounded by fields and chalk streams but villages within walking distance. It has everything, and more, in terms of facilities and equipment. The bed linen was of a high quality which added to a great night sleep ( something I struggle with even at home!). The furniture and decor was stylish but homely. And the garden beautiful. I loved them. Ingrid was so friendly and helpful. We were attending a wedding locally and not only did she help with providing us with a reliable taxi driver but drove us to the venue herself which was so lovely of her. Yes...the track on arrival is a bit precarious but it should not put you off...go slowly and its fine...and well worth it when you get there

Delightful place to stay - hidden in a beautiful valley with lots of lovely tracks and footpaths to explore. Great building - lovely to spend time in and a nice patio area to enjoy the outside for meals. BBQ also available.

We had a wonderful stay. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, happy to answer all our questions about the local area. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, serene, and ideal for a relaxing countryside break. The grounds are lovely, the furnishings are stylish and comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were excellent. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be the addition of a basic welcome package. The nearest shops are a bit of a drive, so arriving to find essentials like milk, bread, and a more generous supply of tea (only six bags were left) would be a thoughtful touch. The host did mention not everyone wants these things and kindly offered us milk upon arrival, but having them ready would really enhance the experience, especially given the overall quality and price point. That said, we had a fantastic time and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful and comfortable countryside retreat.

Ideal location in peaceful surroundings, fantastic outdoor space and extremely friendly and helpful hosts, our only regret was we didn't book longer!

We spent a very comfortable and pleasant week here. Superbly comfy beds. Crisp fresh linen & towels. Good showers. Spacious living, cooking & eating areas. As well as the outdoor dining area. Excellently equipped kitchen. A great size laundry room and downstairs loo. All spotless. Being around 30° this week we didn't need the log burner but it would surely be very snuggly in cooler months. There's nothing more we would need. Thank you Lynda.

A stunning home from home. Gorgeous countryside all around and a lovely enclosed private garden. The barn is beautifully decorated, with really personal touches. Breakfast and essentials provided. Comfortable and just a total delight. Anna was helpful, responsive and courteous at all times. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Really lovely weekend stay with our young children. It was a peaceful location, had everything we needed and had great links to the places we needed. The house is well set up and secure for little people. The facilities were great and had all that we needed.
