Shepherds hut holiday rentals in East Hampshire

Exactly as advertised; very generous breakfast brought to the door of the hut by prior arrangement and at reasonable price. Bathroom hut basic but very decent shower with plenty of hot water and spotless.

Fabulous host, gave us the most wonderful recommendations. Helped with ferry tickets and buses to arrive. Beautiful location, so peaceful and calm and relaxing waking up to the sound of nature. Will definitely be visiting again!

What a beautiful cabin/shepherds hut and location. I booked a solo weekend getaway and travelled by train from London, getting a taxi from Woking. All easy. Hosts came to say hello and were super friendly and welcoming. I went on a couple of nice walks but could have easily hung around the cabin all weekend. Perfect for solo getaway or as a couple. Lovely stay for a few nights. The orchard is beautiful and completely enclosed even for our small dog (and child) so we could let him run around. Next to a quiet road, with occasional cars, the area is peaceful with the sounds of birds and occasionally the cows. We loved having the dining hut too so we could spread out a bit and toast marshmallows. Our five year old loved Dinosaur Island in the nearby country park and paddling in the lake there. We also had a wonderful day out on the Bluebell railway. Great short trip!

The best site ever. We could enjoy unique hut with a bathtub and private space. The scenery of the hill from there was so nice. Our dog could be a good friend of sheep in the next field and excited for a wild rabbit was running through the field. Facilities are well maintained and clean, especially the wood stove inside worked well and nice. Thank you for the stay and see you again! We found a good Japanese restaurant 5 minutes drive from the site.

A really lovely Shepherds Hut that was kitted out well. Comfy bed, nice shower and a lovely outdoor area. A very peaceful area where you could switch off and unwind.

Magical place! The setting is so beautiful, the huts wonderfully decorated, and with every thought given to comfort. My kids LOVED the stay, especially the chill out gazebos, and the fairy woods - truly a magical place! Communication was great, and Jenny really is a perfect host. We'll definitely be back!

We had the most amazing stay at the shepherd’s hut – truly a little slice of heaven! The attention to detail was incredible, with thoughtful extras like a pushchair, baby seat, and toys that made our stay with a little one so much easier and more enjoyable. The hammock was a personal favourite – so relaxing – and the view is absolutely spectacular, even better than the photos (which hardly do it justice!). The breakfast provided was another special touch that made us feel really looked after. We had such a lovely break and would highly recommend this place to anyone. The hosts are so kind and welcoming – thank you for a perfect getaway!

Absolutely amazing! This is such a great find! We had family staying at Whitecliff Caravan park so this was perfect for us as a couple who prefer something a little more alternative to a caravan! Every was as described, and more! All the little details had been thought of… from discounted ferry, fresh milk, bread and eggs (thank you!) plus soft bedding and local recommendations. The whole check in and out process was seamless and very private, but we knew help was there should we need it. We have stayed in a few Shepherds huts and this was by far the best.. clean, tidy with just the right amount of personal touches. Thank you!

It was nice a cost inside the Ivey shepherd huts host was helpful and there was some lovely biscuits left on the side a pint of milk and bottle of wine in the fridge the surrounding was nice and quite and u was left alone

Laura was an excellent host, she sent over a website link before arrival so we could find out more about the area and estate itself. She also sent an itinerary of what was already available to us so we could lighten our packing. Such a peaceful place, just as described. We had the most amazing time and will be sure to visit again!

The hut is very cosy and in a wonderful setting with fantastic amenities. The hosts were always responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We greatly appreciated the provision of kitchen essentials and surprise extras including beer and icecream! We will highly recommend and hope to return :)

Even more beautiful in real life! This hut strikes a rare sweet spot of being totally secluded, in open beautiful surroundings whilst also with luxurious home comforts. Ecologically and practically thought out and Tracey includes plenty of beautiful touches throughout. One of the highlights for me was the bed! So comfortable and cosy. The welcome hamper was also a lovely touch, and Tracey offered to bring extra and was very hospitable without being at all invasive. I didn’t see a soul for the whole week I stayed (excluding walks to places recommended by Tracey)- however I did see plenty of deer and a whole array of birds. I went on my own and it was very restorative, however I could see it being the perfect romantic getaway for a couple too. Overall it was absolute dream of a stay!

We had a great time this weekend and it's all thanks for Emma and Chris' accommodating nature to us. We had booked last minute and they were very responsive, the accommodation was amazing, super cosy and super clean. We were able to use the pool, the communications were great and the surroundings were beautiful. Emma kindly supported with getting around the area, we recommend that you book taxi's in advance! Wow! What an amazing stay me and my boyfriend had. The location of the hut was absolutely stunning- the private lake and the sheep grazing right outside the window was lovely. We made use of the pool on site which was a great touch. The inside of the hut was so well equipped with a pull out kitchen table, storage under the bed for luggage and a really good sized shower- not to add how comfy the bed was! We met Doug the sheep dog who very kindly accompanied us to and from our hut. My boyfriend particularly liked playing fetch across the fields with him! We would 100% recommend this stay and we hope to return😊

Really enjoyed my stay at this brilliant shepherds hut! It's super cosy, fully equipped with everything you might for a short stay, comfy bed (loves the night sky fairy lights inside), beautiful and quiet surroundings. Felt private, but safe. Matt was a great host.

The hut is really cute, it feels very warm and homely and was exactly as it was pictured. The outside area is good, the fire pit was cool and really good for cooking. The surrounding area felt safe and quiet, also lots of birds in the trees and horses in nearby fields. The hut can get quite warm when you’ve been out for the day and the doors are shut so be mindful of leaving food out. A bug screen/curtain on the doors would be nice, other than that fantastic place 10/10 highly recommend. Great for walking and animal spotting, we saw some deer in the woods literally 2mins away and loads of different birds as well.

I stayed with my 5yr old daughter. The first thing she said - ‘feels like we are living in a dream’ and she wasn’t wrong! Isobel has created the most wonderful garden, it felt very special to have a weekend relaxing amongst all the beautiful flowers. The hut was amazing, it had all the required amenities and kept us very comfortable throughout our stay. Isobel left us milk, butter, wine and that lemon drizzle cake! Wow, it was delicious with a cup of coffee! Isobel was very kind to heat the plunge pool which my daughter had so much fun playing in. (Thank you) Isobel and her family were extremely welcoming, I was provided with top service and a dinner booking sorted out for me! We met Ron the dog, who had a great time running around the garden with my daughter, she hasn’t stop talking about him! Such a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back! The most wonderful stay in the most beautiful little hut. From the moment I arrived I felt instantly relaxed. Emily has created the most perfectly peaceful space, inside and out. She is also a wonderful host & was able to help me with my forgotten item. Waking up to the sound of the birds, with the greenery outside the window was my favourite part. Emily’s hut is a delightfully comfortable space and the log burner keeps you very cosy in the evening. The village itself is also delightful to walk around, there is plenty to explore in the area and a great pub on the doorstep. The only downside was checking out.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had. Such a gorgeous location, the hut was spotless and had everything you needed. From a thoughtful bottle of Prosecco to breakfast. Fiona was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. We will be back again before summer is up, the cows and donkeys made it extra magical. Thank you for having us, and for letting us use your beautiful space. We were so sad to leave, but as mentioned will be sure to return. Highly recommended and everything about this stay was beautiful.

By far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I could not fault the whole experience. Every message sent was responded to quickly, check in instructions were clear. They went above and beyond to make the stay special. The Shepherds hut is immaculately clean. We had champagne, a balloon, fresh flowers and petals on the bed to welcome us for our anniversary all at no extra charge. Every detail of the hut is well thought out and had a functional but luxurious feel. The hot tub was relaxing as was the whirlpool bath. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful yet you can quickly and easily get to London. We followed recommendations for Deliveroo and pub choices and we weren’t disappointed. Thank you so much we will be returning 😊

The Deer Hut is a total gem, tucked away down a country lane with a lovely outlook. Was so peaceful and I loved lying on the cosy cabin bed watching the sun go down through the stable-type door. Emma was really friendly and helpful, even lending me scales which I randomly needed! The hut has everything you could ask for and more - it's been beautifully fitted out with such attention to detail. I'll definitely be back!

We had the best time ever at Lycia’s shepherd hut. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the Lycia and Michael who showed us to the hut and made sure we had everything we needed and more for our stay. The hut completely exceeded our expectations. The hand-built fire pit and BBQ were incredible touches and we spent our evenings sitting by the fire, looking up at the stars, such a peaceful and unforgettable experience. The hut itself was cosy, beautifully done and far better than we could have imagined. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! We’d recommend this shepherds to absolutely everyone. Thank you for an amazing stay Lycia and Michael, we’ll definitely be back!

A lovely hut in the New Forest, beside the local pub (which we didn’t actually try). A peaceful location! Really well appointed, luxurious hut, with v comfy bed and a lovely bathroom! What more could you want!
