Great place to stay. Thoughtful touches by the host. Would certainly recommend.

Apartment was gorgeous. 3 big bedrooms with tvs. Huge living area with gorgeous kitchen that had everything. 2 modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Parking at back of property big enough for 2 cars. Also an electric charge point if needed. Little court yard area to sit out in when weather nice. Nice park over the road and apartment next to a COOP grocery store. Chinese take away on same road. 15 min walk into York which is easy to walk. Loads of car parks if you prefer to drive. York is well worth a visit. Loads to do and see. Tons of restaurants including a few good traditional Indian/nepalese which didn’t disappoint. We came with our kids age 21 and 15 and two of their friends. Would definitely stay again maybe before Xmas as York is one of the best Xmas markets we’ve been to in the past. Host was responsive and everything about the apartment was perfect. The key lock box made it easy to check in. Would highly recommend we had a great time thank you 🤩

the apartment was really nice and spacious. Well maintained and could not fault a thing. The apartment was well located as it was a short walk into the town. The host was very friendly and responded very quickly to my queries. I would highly recommend this apartment.

My cousin and I had a short but great stay at Jamal’s apartment in York! We parked our car in the conveniently located garage Jamal provided! Just as a heads up, there’s no lift, so you’ll have to take several flights of stairs up with your luggage—or if you’d rather, just bring up what is absolutely necessary and leave the rest in your trunk/boot (the garage is pretty secure and only residents have access). Once there, we were greeted with a lovely view of the York Minster from the living room! Space was clean and as listed! The best part was the convenient location—everything you needed was within walking distance: restaurants, shops, the York Minster, and the Shambles. Great location and Jamal was very attentive and responsive!

A great place to stay, the check in was seamless, the flat matched the description and our expectations. The location is spot on and within easy reach of all amenities and sights of interest. The easily accessible secure parking is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely two night stay in Clare's Penthouse apartment. The view was nice across the rooftops making everything light and airy. A perfect place to return to after a busy day exploring York. We came by train and the shortcut to the apartment was excellent. Thank you Clare for keeping in touch, being so flexible and for the lovely treats you left for us.

Great very central apartment a few minutes walk from the city centre. On site parking was a real bonus. Everything you could possibly need inside the apartment if you want to eat in and the lovely welcome basket with really appreciated.

Perfect base for exploring York and the car park was an added bonus! Everything was super close by and some gorgeous restaurants and coffee shops on the same street!

We’ve just arrived home after a lovely weekend stay for my partners 30th birthday, we had balloons and Prosecco in the lodge when we arrived. The place was absolutely spotless and so modern facilities, the place was so homely and cosy. Overall site was clean and well looked after. Melanie was amazing, so helpful and responsive to messages. We are already planning our next stay, thanks so much! X

Me and my partner stopped in May cottage and had a great time it’s a beautiful place for 2 people and had everything we needed in the cottage will definitely use again if we come back up to the area.

Alice’s house is absolutely beautiful, exactly like the pictures and finished to a very high standard. Alice was an amazing host, super responsive and accommodating. We felt at home straightaway and will look forward to returning very soon.

Ben’s property is a gem. In a perfect location and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The property was clean and spacious. Absolutely ideal for our family of 4 adults. Ben and Alison communicated brilliantly and helped us out with a couple of questions we had. Would highly recommend. Thanks for letting us stay.

Wow! What an amazing place this is. Just as seen on the pictures. Beautifully furnished, the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The location is right on the beach with access to Filey and other places only a short drive away. Vanda is a great host. She was really flexible with our requests for extra time to check out and responds quickly. We will be back!

Gilbertson cottage was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and just completely breath taking. We came on a Hen do & just could not get over how unreal every single aspect of the house was. It made our whole weekend. It was everything and more that we could have asked for & I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve already spoke about a few of us coming back with our partners and children! What a beautiful place. A lovely place to stay for a visit to York and an amazing location for a visit to the racecourse. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and and the property details were very clear. Lovely restaurants nearby and very close to the centre of York. We would definitely stay here again. Our only problem was that we were almost the target of a Phishing scam through Airbnb so others users should beware. Make sure you are dealing with Airbandb and not someone who has intercepted the owners site and wants your credit card details!

We had a great stay. The location was perfect just a short distance from the city centre, with nice view over a small park. The house was clean and the communication for check in/out was clear. Would recommend for a group trip to York!

We had to most amazing stay in York from start to finish. The apartment was beautiful with everything that you needed, spotless, kept to a very high standard, perfect location, everything in walking distance which was great, the only down side was that we couldn't stay longer. Can't fault this place at all, I'm very picky about where we stay and I'm glad we chose this one. It was spotlessly clean, modern, homely and quiet considering we were right in the city centre. Fantastic car parking space where we just left the car because everything is just a short walkable distance away. Lovely little private and secure courtyard just enhanced this lovely little property, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend to single or couples wanting to explore the city of York, honestly if someone offered to pay me to find a negative comment, I wouldn't be able to. I cannot recommend this home enough. It was perfection. Absolutely stunning home, very high end & impeccable cleanliness. Absolutely best place I have ever stayed. Instantly felt at home & pampered at the same time. The location could not be better. In the heart of everything just a stones throw from the York Minster. We spent a whole week here and left wanting more time. The history, the charm, the beauty, the shops, the restaurants, and nightlife. Something for everyone to enjoy. The home also has a lovely semi-private garden courtyard if you need a respite from all the bustle of York. You absolutely don’t need & don’t really want a car here unless you will be exploring the broader Yorkshire, which I also highly recommend. The Yorkshire Dales are not to be missed. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for perfection.

Modern , comfy, clean and well furnished apartment in a gated block. The apartment is on the doorstep of many York attractions and we easily walked to York Minster, The Shambles, Railway Museum and other tourist hotspots. There are a couple of restaurants very close and a Sainsburys local which was useful. Marian communicated clearly replying promptly and was able to offer us a slightly earlier check in to suit our train arrival time which was appreciate as were the arrival snacks. Would recommend to friends.

Really great stay, apartment was exactly as listed an was perfect for a famil stay over the weekend. The rooms had air con which made a big difference comfort wise. Location was great, an easily walkable into the centre, with great views of York Minster. All instructions and interactions with Rebbeca were great. Would happily recommend this for someone looking to stay!
