"Living in the Bauwagen" Our lovingly converted construction car is ready for you if you love nature and are looking for distance from everyday life. The site trailer is quietly and idyllically nestled between an apple and a plum tree in the garden of our house. It has been converted and expanded architecturally and is a successful mix of old, preserved and modern elements. You have a great unobstructed view over meadows and fields, to Amöneburg, 10 km away. The site trailer is comfortably furnished for 1-2 people and you can even heat with a wood stove on cool days. In addition, the site trailer has a cooking facility, a coffee maker and a cooler, so you can take good care of yourself. The sanitary facilities are easily accessible 20 m away. In an appealing washhouse you can take showers, wash and walk to the toilet. Our bicycles are available for you to explore in the immediate vicinity, for example, the Rauischholzhausen Castle (7 km), the Wässberger Warte (3 km) and the university city of Marburg an der Lahn (8 km), which are to be mentioned with the Marburg Castle and its exceptional half-timbered old town. Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Nearby are the Schlosspark Rauischholzhausen and the historic university town of Marburg (12 km). For maximum flexibility, a car is recommended. A charging station for electric cars (11 kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee). The overnight price is including final cleaning.
