Apartment holiday rentals in Edinburgh

We enjoyed our stay at Nadia’s place very much. Despite its very central location, the apartment, which faces the rear of the building, is pin drop silent. Comfortable bed, everything was super clean. When in Edinburgh we’ll definitely want to come back.

The appt complex was clean. This is just one room so if you have lots of bags it will be cluttered but we were fine. The instructions explained all the appliances very well so we had breakfast every morning in the room and ate dinner there a few times too. Lots of great takeaways nearby - we did TingThai, ElFalafel and The Clay Oven. We did laundry several times. Cleaners are around regularly for more rubbish bags etc. Location is very central, putting the majority of Edinburgh within walking distance. We walked to Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, Stockbridge, Water of Leith, Dean Bridge, Morningside, The Meadows, The Grassmarket etc etc.

Marco’s place was all we’d hoped. It has the feel of a high quality hotel but with the freedom and flexibility of self-catering. The location is quiet but the attractions and shops of central Edinburgh are within easy walking distance. The apartment is peaceful, spacious, warm and really well designed for a relaxing stay. The views of Edinburgh from all the windows are impressive. The bedroom is very comfortable. All fittings and equipment seem new and in very good condition. Marco was a very thoughtful and kind host who went out of his way to ensure that our time in Edinburgh went well. We would recommend Marco’s place and hope that we’re able to return before too long.

Lisa’s place was clean and organized. At the center of Old Town.

I had a wonderful weekend at Emily’s flat—it was beautiful, comfortable, and in a terrific location. Emily was such a responsive and considerate host, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay (and extremely fairly priced, especially for being right on the shore!!).

Wonderful stay in Dean Village! It felt like we were in a storybook. Simona was so gracious and responsive. Highly recommend even if it's just for a short visit!

Our stay in Radek’s apartmrnt was lovely, the apartment is very cosy and we instantly felt like at home. The apartment was both close to the shore and main city attractions. The transport with tram was very easy and comfortable. Radek was very kind and helpful. We certainly recommend!.

The apartment was great, 15 min walk from Haymarket, bus stop right outside, lovely view of the castle, some lovely eateries close by! Perfectly described, what you see is what you get! Highly recommend & would definitely stay there again

Perfect place for a stay in Edinburgh. Walkable location from the train station and to all the major attractions. Lovely apartment. Very quiet despite being so close to the city sites. Veronique lives nearby and was very friendly, kind and helpful. The apartment was well-supplied with fresh items, and not with leftovers from previous renters. So nice upon arrival to see fresh milk, butter, eggs, bread, juice, yogurt, and a full supply of condiments. Just a great place to stay. Highly recommended. Two nearby restaurants we'd recommend are an Italian restaurant called Amerone, and a French one called Chez Jules. Both excellent and reasonably priced. Busy, so booking ahead is recommended. We used a private driving service, LR Executive, for a day trip out to the highlands. Very expensive, but it was a great way to see the area and do some hiking. They allowed us to plan our own journey and stops. Ask for Andy--a great guide and driver.

If you are looking for a truly memorable experience in London then I highly recommend this place for your stay. You will be hard pressed to find a more accommodating host who will go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are covered and queries answered. I cannot thank Martin and Weng enough for helping to make our stay in London so comfortable and welcoming. Xx

This apartment was the perfect place for us to enjoy Edinburgh! W&M were so friendly and responsive, even suggesting locations for us to purchase a Harris Tweed hot water bottle (as we both adored and used the one provided). And the beautiful touches throughout the lower-level apartment did not stop there - we loved the historic window shutters and wainscoting (painted in a luscious green that we saw used in the National Museum of Scotland), the fresh fruit and basic foods were welcomed after our travels, and we loved watching the light fall on the flowers during our stay. An absolute gem!

Quick to respond to questions and provide great recommendations on local restaurants/attractions. Airbnb is situated in a good location with easy access to public transportation. Overall, very well worth the money for my stay in Edinburgh.

The location of this apartment is absolutely terrific. Such great views. So much attention to detail. A book lovers dream. The host took great care and was very responsive. Would recommend.

A beautiful and spacious apartment. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Very impressive views. It was very easy to get a bus into the centre of Edinburgh. We really appreciated and highly recommend the jacuzzi bath after running the Edinburgh Marathon!! Bulhar was great with communication. Also some extra touches were really appreciated - shampoos,conditioner and shower gel and other toiletries available to use in the bathroom. Also some soft drinks and teas and coffees available as well, which was very generous. Would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our vacation in Scotland. The location was perfect for walking to all the best spots in Edinburgh. Michelle was the person I communicated with upon arrival, she was extremely helpful and very prompt in returning my texts. I would definitely recommend this rental.

We had a great stay at this airbnb. It was located in a great spot near the local attractions. The pictures of the accommodation were accurate. Khanna was quick to respond to messages and helpful, and we didn't have any problems with our stay. I would recommend this airbnb!

Fantastic holiday, great location, comfortable bed and amazing bath. The slippers and dressing gown was a really lovely touch. Highly recommend the Bonnie Bide Awa. Only sightly disappointing thing was the Welcome pack, 1/2 bottle of olive oil, 2 sachets of porridge,1/4 tin of hot chocolate and an empty canister.. If we’re ever in Edinburgh again, I will definitely try to book this apartment.

Very close to a lot of restaurants. Close to the places we wan to go even the castle. We had a great.

Stylish, clean and well stocked house with all the necessary amenities. Maggie was very responsive host and provided clear instructions to check in. It was our son's birthday weekend & we arrived to a cake, candles, balloons & birthday banners which was very thoughtful and kind. We felt at home instantly with welcome drinks & treats. There was private parking which was great and the place is also close to beach within walkable distance. We would love to come back and highly recommend her place!
