Beachfront holiday rentals in Edinburgh

I visited with a friend while walking part of the John Muir Way, the property was directly on the route and fantastic for this purpose. Karen was a brilliant host and allowed us access a little early to this great property, it's so well located for access to the beach and local amenities. Parking was really easy, some just for Residents but more than enough for everyone. The facilities were great we had all we needed to cook and eat in house and we were particularly impressed with the toiletries and thoughtful little touches like a spare phone charger plug. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Great cottage, very well kitted out, lovely touches and the previous reviews on the comfiness of the beds was very accurate. We managed to sit out for breakfast in the beautiful garden. Great location, easy to get around. Would recommend a walk down to Pan Ha and some food in the Harbour masters cafe ( book first) We discovered that we had lost the front door key at 9pm on Friday night. Response was so quick it was so appreciated. We had tired kids and just wanted to go back to the house. We got a replacement key within 20 mins! If they will have us back we would definitely book again 😁

We loved our stay in Kinghorn. Kathryn and Aileen were very knowledgeable and communicative! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 4. A walk across the road to the ocean lookout gave breathtaking views with an easy path down to the beach. The two minute walk to the train station had us in downtown Edinburgh in less than 45 minutes! This places was the perfect spot for a relaxing and hassle free getaway with the bustling city easily accessible.

Amazing amazing place to stay, we absolutely loved it! The beach is so wonderful to walk on and swim in, and Alex and Dan’s place was so welcoming and cozy! And Alex and Dan are very kind and responsive!

Great location, with easy parking in front of the property. It’s pay and display before 17:00. Scott was super helpful and friendly. With responses super quick. Check in was easy with a lock box. The place is stunning. The photos really didn’t do it justice. Super homey. The location is super nice right on the beach and just a short walk to a shop if anything needed. Would 100% recommend.

Perfect for what we needed it for! Spacious and clean! Just one to note- no WIFI and signal was a bit spotty at times! Also the on site facilities such as swimming pool, require you to pay for a weekly pass to use! Apart from that was a great place to stop, and was perfect for our intended use!

Spacious house with character and street parking opposite the sea. Half hour drive to Edinburgh, slightly longer on the bus. Recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this flat, the location is absolutely perfect, right next to the beach and close to all the local amenities. Ideal for myself and my partner and our dog, with plenty of great walks nearby. The flat itself was clean and cosy, and the hot shower was a real treat after a day out exploring. Would definitely recommend and would love to return!

Thanks to Deyan, we had a smooth check in. The cabin would have been impossible to find without Deyan's clear instructions. The place was squeaky clean and everyone loved it. We did wish we could cut out some plans from our holiday to stay there for a few more days. Absolutely worth the money

Stay at David’s place was great! The area was very close by to the beach. Close to Edinburgh as well so was able to do day trips there. There is plenty to do in the resort as well. The rooms were slightly smaller than expected but didn’t affect us too much.

Fantastic caravan with everything you need for a great holiday. Even had a welcome gift and a few additions to keep the little ones entertained. Caravan feels brand new and has all amenities you could need. Right on the seafront and was perfect Edinburgh marathon weekend as the marathon runs past the front of the park twice. Would highly recommend!

Maggie and her husband were great hosts, we didn't get to meet Maggie, but her husband was a great gentleman and helpful, and we had a lovely conversation with him during check-in. Lovely little home with plenty of space and seating in the living room and the dining area. Smart TV's in almost every room which is lovely. plenty of sunshine and natural light all around. We did check-in on a pretty short notice, Maggie and her husband were responsive and the check-in process was fast. Would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.

Place was spotless and lovely decor throughout nothing a miss beautiful and felt relaxed and at home. G was very helpful, prompt responses to any questions/queries.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. A cosy, quiet apartment with a wonderful sea view and all amenities needed for a pleasant and relaxing vacation! Alex was friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home immediately. Strongly reccomend (and we will definitely come again!)

good functional apartment which enabled us to make a family Christmas dinner. good responsive communication from staff. transport links very good to central Edinburgh and good restaurants and bars in walking distance

Had a great stay with Trish! Such a nice little space with everything you need, plus super close to the train station that goes right into Edinburgh city!

The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect. Walking to the beach and to 2 fantastic coffee / breakfast restaurants takes about 1 minute. Also close - a little grocery store, some attractive shops, and at least one pub! You can get buses directly to Edinburgh or the many nearby towns. Excellent bedding here, two bathrooms (one tub, one shower) is a real bonus. We cooked twice - kitchen is not equipped for prepping a big dinner, but all set for simple meals. The living area is nice and spacious. A bucket of plastic beach toys at the door is a thoughtful touch. If I had one suggestion for the host, it would be to upgrade the window coverings so that the lovely and cheerful “shabby chic” beach vibe doesn’t start to lean too far into the “shabby” side. I would happily return to this place, and would recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and homey getaway.

It's a very lovely cozy place to stay. The neighborhood is really pretty and the amenities in the house made our stay really nice. Amazing choice of furniture and deco in the house. It's an aesthetic place.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quirky, interesting house. It’s an Aladdin’s cave of books, music and art work. And a very comfortable place to relax after a busy day exploring the beach and Edinburgh. The beds were comfy, the shower powerful, plenty of chairs, access to wifi, an Alexa, hot tub (we were so grateful for this to cool down in on the hottest day of the year!), a projector to watch films and tv shows using iPlayer and Amazon Prime and lots of towels. We were appreciative too of the wine and coffee left for us. The house is 2 minutes from the beach and there are plenty of local shops and cafes around the corner. The next door neighbour is a lovely chap who was happy to answer questions. Our children were delighted to look after their affectionate cats. I would recommend staying in this house. Thank you Thea and family for letting us stay in this family home built with love.

I had an incredible one month stay at this property. The room is beautiful - even the pictures don't do it justice! Everything is kept spotless with every amenity you could need. Judy is incredibly helpful and flexible, she was always around to respond to messages, help with tasks, give recommendations and more! The area is stunning - you're a few minutes from the beach and there are lots of cute local shops and restaurants on the same street. Judy was even kind enough to offer a partial refund for noise from construction (that I hardly noticed actually!) I would absolutely recommend this property for a stay and am keen to return myself. The reviews speak for themselves!

Ian was so helpful and answered our many questions. We watched the tide go in and out at Granton Harbor from the living room. The apartment was huge and well lit from east and west side windows. Fell in love with the Nespresso! And 3 bus stops 2 blocks away got us everywhere we wanted to go. Old Edinburgh is a 30 minute ride away and Newhaven just 10 minutes
