My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

The apartment is on the ground floor and can accommodate 2 people. The bathroom is equipped with a large, bidet shower, infrared cabin and underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The washer-dryer is also integrated in this. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. Guests have a cozy terrace at their disposal and the garden can also be used. A grill is of course available.

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
