We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Our modern vacation home (85 m²) is located on the outer edge of the idyllic NRW gold village of Benroth, in the middle of the Bergisches Land (about 50 km east of Cologne). Surrounded by forest and meadow, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom and berry pickers will get their money's worth. An inspirational space for creative people! First rental in 2020 as a holiday home, in a historic courtyard ensemble. For 2 (max 4) guests, 56 m2 living space. Ground floor: hallway, living area with dining table and fireplace, sofa bed, kitchenette with oven and hotplates, original shower room. 1st floor, accessible via a spiral staircase, with attic: farmer's bed, clothes board, sofa, TV. Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. The house was built in 1750 and is located in Engelskirchen Bickenbach. Enjoy the charm of the 250-year-old oak timber frame paired with modern building materials and high-quality furnishings. Whether you are looking for relaxation in the beautiful "Bergisches Land," visiting the Cologne Fair or friends in our region or traveling for business, you will feel comfortable in our vacation home. The house can accommodate 4-6 people.

FeWo Stecki - Nature near Cologne/Bonn

The apartment basically presents itself as an independent small house. On the ground floor is the spacious living / dining kitchen with attached living room. The staircase leads to the upper floor with great views of nature. There are also the two bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with shower. The property was completed in March 2014 and thus presents itself as a new building. The bathroom was completely renovated in 2020.

This unique half-timbered house in the heart of Rhöndorf can be booked by 2-6 people. You will only get all 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms if you book for 5 adults or more. Otherwise, 2 adults are always counted per room. It is located on our private farm right next to our own estate tavern and opposite our Rhöndorf inn. You can also rent e-bikes on request or taste our wines from the Weingut Haus im Turm in our estate tavern.

During your stay I will be your next-door neighbour and I will be happy to help with tourist tips. As stated in the description, there are beds for 3, but upon request an additional bed can be provided. The apartment is in a non-smoker house and not available for parties.

The Kotten is actually a small factory, a former knife grinding shop, and is located at the end of the valley and away from the village directly on the Wupper. This is where industrial architecture, tranquility and a lot of nature meet.
