I felt right at home, even though I had a room, it felt comfortable and inviting g to use the shared spaces. The house is charming, old fashioned and full of history. I loved my private balcony off the Bear Room. The creek within walking distance was a respite spot in the hot summer days.

Staying at Lori’s place was an absolute delight! From the moment I booked until the end of my stay, Lori was incredibly responsive and helpful, promptly answering all my questions and ensuring everything was perfect. The house was spotless, with every corner meticulously clean. The kitchen was a dream for anyone who loves cooking—it had all the tools and appliances you could possibly need, from a microwave and oven to a variety of utensils and cookware. It truly felt like a home away from home! The cozy and well-organized space made me feel so comfortable throughout my stay. Additionally, having a dedicated parking spot was such a convenience, especially when coming back after a day of exploring. Lori’s attention to detail and hospitality exceeded all expectations. This was a wonderful cabin! It’s in great driving distance to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and so much more. Shelly was a great host and was very responsive and friendly to any questions we had during our stay!
