Polly is a wonderful host! Her place was absolutely perfect! She made sure we had everything we needed and even brought over a ball for our toddlers to play with outside. That was so sweet of her! This is our go-to place in Johnson city!

This is a great place to stay if you are in the Johnson City area. The home is well laid out, extremely clean, and in a nice, interesting neighborhood. It was easy to find, and the office nook and toy chest were pleasant surprises for the kids. The porch is really nice also, and the beds are quite comfortable. Thank you!

Loved loved loved staying here!! Was so happy to be able to pet goats! The most perfect kitty lives on the property and will politely make you biscuits! The place was so comfortable and cozy. Loved the lightening bugs and trails to the creek, escorted by kitty of course. Host was so down to earth and went out of her way to allow me an early check in! She’s a super woman! Will definitely be back, close to many great hiking spots! The blue hole is a must! Thank you!

What a beautiful oasis for my family, and our senior dog, Lola. It has a huge fenced-in yard, dog treats she loved and a creek she waded in. There's a relaxing grassy area 10 ft across the street with adirondack chairs, a hammock and large swing. You can grill out under the trees, & dip your toes in the water. The front porch has multiple seating areas for reading or enjoying downtime surrounded by some of the most fragrant and colorful flower beds which I'm completely jealous of. Added bonus is having a two car covered garage. What a great find nestled in the Appalachian Mtns. House had spacious bedrooms with updated bathrooms (huge soaking tub) and large flat screen TVs in multiple rooms. So many places to see and enjoy in this area. We will absolutely be back!

I had a truly relaxing stay here. The place was spotless, spacious, and had such a peaceful atmosphere. One of my favorite parts was waking up to beautiful mountain views right from the porch and bedroom. It was also really cool to see cows grazing in the fields each morning — a perfect touch of nature. The scenery and quiet surroundings made it the ideal spot to unwind. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay. Fantastic view and was easy asses from the main roads.

Very clean nice to have two bathrooms. Watuga river was really unique with the mist morning and evening. Nicely located from Roan Mtn, Elizabethton and Johnson City.

Amy’s place was perfect! Exactly as shown in photos, had everything we could’ve possibly needed, & she left water bottles on the counter for our arrival :) We had a quick one night stay and Amy’s rental was great for us.

This was my first stay at an Airbnb, and it was lovely and peaceful. I instantly felt right at home and recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Mountain City. Debbi was a wonderful host!

Vickie was so friendly and very accommodating! We were in the area for my son’s wedding at Allandale Mansion. The bride and groom stayed here before heading out to their honeymoon destination. It was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend staying here and working with Vickie. She was very helpful to give advice on other places for other family members coming in from out of town as well.

Johnny’s place offered everything I needed and more for a night. It’s easy to walk into and around the little town Banner Elk, but it also has beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Johnny and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my visit!

Beautiful setting, so quiet and peaceful. Hosts were friendly and responsive, we will definitely be back.

What to write in such a small space! Kevin and Susie are precious folks. We got in late on our first night and Kevin helped carry our things upstairs. And chatted with us for a bit. Susie had made some AMAZING cookies for us. We loved the space of the apartment. It was clean, cozy and just as the pictures portrayed. The bed was so comfortable!!! We will definitely be staying here again. Roan Mountain is our me favorite place and Kevin and Susie have the best place to enjoy it! Thanks for having us ♥️

This was our 2nd year staying here and it was just as nice. Alex was proactive about reaching out to see if we needed anything. It is an apartment so you can hear music from the other units but it quieted down by the time we wanted to go to sleep so the other residents must be concientious of that. It's a very nice place, easy to communicate with the host, and they are experienced so it has a simple but good variety of provisions in the kitchen (which is my whole reason for Airbnb... kitchens!). I will be staying here in the future, very nice & clean.

Whitney was very personable, couldn’t figure out the gate and she took a personal call without hesitation to help. So close to all the great places in town.we will be back.

Amanda’s hidden gem was an amazing spot for me and my boyfriend to escape reality from! Check-in was very easy, and her space was very easy to find. Her space looks just like the pictures and we felt right at home. Amanda was also kind enough to supply some light snacks and coffee cups for the place which we were very grateful for! It was very clean, and we felt very safe and right at home. We were also able to have access to the country club, which we went for the hot tub which was so nice! The view from the balcony was amazing!! Overall, we loved our stay with Amanda and we will be back for a ski trip!! :)

This place is in a beautiful area. It's private and quiet surrounded by nature's wonder. Every morning I woke up to a beautiful sunrise on the balcony with my coffee listening to the birds sing. I slept on the sofa bed facing the balcony and it was comfortable. My kids enjoyed the bed in the bedroom. We made breakfast and dinner and enjoyed how comfortable and cozy the ambiance felt in this condo. I took morning walks nearby. Otter falls is nearby and you can hear the creek from the balcony. The condo was very clean and had the basic necessities for our weekend stay. Definitely coming back again.

Fabby’s place was perfect for a mountain weekend getaway! The Airbnb was extremely clean and matched the photos exactly. We brought our dog along and it was a great setup for having a pet. Fabby was so responsive and always answered our questions quickly!

This was the perfect getaway we were looking for. The owners did an absolutely great job at providing clear and precise details on how to get to the unit. Additionally, it was helpful that they mentioned that there was no AC so that we could bring our own fans with us. The location had a beautiful scenery in the morning. Also, there was even some wildlife that we spotted from the porch during our morning coffee. The little touches of coffee being provided and dog toys for our Happy boy was very sweet. We would definitely stay here again

One of my favorite places on AirBnB! Clean, spacious, peaceful, close to tons of hiking trails. Waterfall in sight from the porch, kitchen extremely well-equipped. Will be back!

Beautiful views and peaceful place in the mountains! We had a wonderful stay here! The only thing I would say is just to pay attention to the listing because there is no air conditioning which for most of the year I know is not necessary! When I booked, I didn’t notice that she had clearly listed that there is no air-conditioning. There are ceiling fans, and one floor powered fan to help circulate the air. The views are amazing from the porch and the porch furniture is fantastic for sitting in the evening in the morning! The apartment has everything you need and is so comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!
