Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Elk Lake

We stayed for a weekend with family and our fur babies and had an amazing time. Courtney let us check in earlier which was nice of her and we got to enjoy the water. The water was just as described crystal clear. House was super clean and cozy. We will definitely stay again next year.

Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a great value for the area. Walking distance to town. Charlevoix is a bustling place so it was great to park at apartment and walk where ever we wanted to go. Brandon was very responsive and proactive on giving us check-in instructions. Everything was exactly as described so I had no reason to contact him during our stay. We will definitely stay again!

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

Kelly made sure that our time in Elk Rapids was the perfect spring-board for outdoor recreation, fine dining, peaceful accommodations, and beautiful memories. The house was the perfect place to wind down after a day at the beach, where we were able to grill, have a bonfire, and play cards. Needless to say, we cannot wait to return!

We appreciated the local chips and beer and special dog cookie. This is a great spot and we are thankful it is dog friendly.

A clean, cozy, well decorated space that had everything we needed and then some. Peaceful area, close to lake. We really felt at home and enjoyed ourselves. Chip makes everything clear and easy. Great host.

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing get away! i definitely recommend david and nicole's airbnb if you're looking in this area! they were very precise with location, recommendations, check in/out directions! we loved our stay!

A-Frame of Mind was perfect in every way! It was clean, roomy, beautifully decorated, and cozy! Everything we needed was available and stores were nearby for any items we didn't have. I wish I lived closer, and I would make this an annual visit. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. This house was exactly what we were looking for. Directly on the lake with an area for our kids to play, a dock to enjoy and an awesome porch and outdoor firepit. The house was very clean and had all cookware and basic items we needed. Great place for fun with the family or just go relax and unwind.

We spent a wonderful week at Sam's cabin, the light inside is wonderful, the sofa and beds are extremely comfortable. Perfect location, close to lakes, trails and great nature. We loved the creek going through the neighborhood. And extremely stylish overall (the pictures completely match the reality).

The beach cottage is unbelievable. While the indoor space is relatively small, it is maximized! The outdoor space is private and amazing! The setup on the deck and the beach is exactly what a Lake Michigan retreat should be. 5 minutes Leland and 15 minutes to Glen Arbor makes the location unbeatable. Definitely will be back!

Katie is an excellent host and has put a lot of work into the cabin. It has a true Northern Michigan feel. It is centrally located to many Northern Michigan destinations.

The tower was exactly as described. The location is secluded but not difficult to find. Very peaceful and relaxing! The tower has everything you need as far as kitchen necessities and even toiletries. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. It is located only a 3 minute drive from downtown Bellaire which has many cute little shops, a brewery, distillery, and restaurants. The tower is also located only 20-25 mins from Torch Lake. Only disclaimer I have is the stairs; it was not a problem for our group but may be difficult for some.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful place and the great host. They were highly responsive before and during our stay. When I saw the photos, I thought it was too good to be true - but it wasn’t - everything was as exactly described and as pictured. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely go back and have already recommended to multiple friends in the area. This place is the best!!

Cute, cozy cottage for our trip to northern Michigan for the ICEMAN MTB race. House was well stocked (Bluetooth music speakers, laundry soap, plenty of towels and extra blankets). We enjoyed our stay and of the three houses we stayed in for this annual trip, this was the cleanest and most convenient location. Thank you for being pet friendly too.

This was an absolute gem! The yurt was an experience both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was so clean and fresh, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Kirsten was also a fabulous host who was very responsive and helped us celebrate a birthday by leaving us a little treat to enjoy during our stay! 11 out of 10 would recommend this place to anybody, and we hope to come back. (Side note: never knew I needed an outdoor shower until NOW! Absolutely loved!)
