The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for a cozy, relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub, and all the check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the fan for white noise. We’d love to return one day!

This place was beautiful, quiet, clean and had so many extra amenities. The heated pool was great, even on the rainy days! We enjoyed the HBO Max on multiple TVs in the house and even on the porch! The creek was great too for the kids to explore. We were glad we had saved the check in key code ahead of time, as we had no reception until on the cabin’s wifi. Brandon was VERY responsive when we had questions. We definitely hope we are able to stay at the cabin again! Just wish we didn’t have to leave!!

Wonderful extended weekend spent in peace and quiet. With a firepit, hot tub, relaxing outdoor porch, it was just perfect for our adventurous weekend. The home is well stocked, comfortable and totally private. The owner was very responsive and helped us with some local options for meals and places to visit.

I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!

Beautiful house, good value for the money. In a valley next to a stream with mountains all around on each side. Hot tub was great. Main downside is the sound proofing on the inside - sound carried from the main living area into almost all the other rooms.

Incredible stay! The location is stunning, peaceful, scenic(the mountain side view is amazing), and exactly as shown in the listing. Every detail of the home was well thought out, from the cozy layout to the beautiful views. The host also deserve one paragraph. MerryJo and Aaron are amazing — quick to respond, helpful with suggestions, and truly went above and beyond to make the stay seamless and comfortable. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a quite gateway with full privacy.

Quiet and peaceful! We really enjoyed the screened in porch! Bed was comfortable. One shower head was broken, but that was communicated. The soap/ Shampoo dispensers didn't work in showers, but Kristen mentioned she has new ones to install. It was just an inconvenience because we didn't pack any to save room.

Great cabin in a great area! Cannot recommend enough for quick and easy access to nature with affordability for what you get. Highly recommend.

My recent stay at this Airbnb was an absolute dream! The location was so peaceful and beautiful, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The scenery was breathtaking, and the air was fresh and clean. But what truly made the experience exceptional was Matthew (the host). He were incredibly attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed and offering helpful suggestions for local spots to explore. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home. I can't recommend this Airbnb enough for anyone looking for a serene getaway with a host who genuinely cares!

This was a wonderful little cabin in the woods. Definitely need a 4WD/AWD car for the snowy months. Overall wonderful experience with our dogs!

I really do try to seek out unique hidden gems when I use AirBnB. Darlene's cabin is for sure on that list now! I was scrambling to find a place to stay to hike the Dolly Sods and surrounding area with my sons last weekend. I stumbled across this place, and it was PERFECT! Not just a great location for all the things you can do in the area, but also a great place to return to at the end of the day. The place was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen well equipped, so we had no need to eat out during our stay. The riverfront tiki bar was also a major highlight to my kids. Was a great evening activity to grab an adult beverage to enjoy classic video games, mini golf, cornhole, darts, etc etc..Darlene was a great host with and quick to respond to any questions I had... I would absolutely stay here again when planning a trip back to the area!

This stay was my first experience using AirBnB. Amy is a wonderful and most helpful host. The property is amazing. There are a lot of trails around the mountain to explore and the pond is beautiful. Every morning and evening, I would see at least 15 to 20 deer while walking the dog and the only sounds around, were the birds. Thank you Amy, I will definitely be back the next time I visit West Virginia.

The views from this house are breathtaking- it was sunny and rainy and so peaceful. I would definitely recommend booking.

The cabin was more than we expected. It had plenty of room for us both and our grandson. Beavers living 100 yards up the hiking road and wild turkey feeding just outside the kitchen window excited us and thrilled grandson. The place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We would definitely return.

We absolutely loved Greg's place!! 😍 It was nice to go off grid and have a peace without the electronic world always connected.

I am so happy I booked this cabin!! Not only was it pouring down rain ALL night (I usually tent camp) but I loved the area and was able to enjoy it the following morning! The cabin is perfect for anyone wanting to stay in the woods with a bed and roof. 🙋‍♀️yes, please! Instead of a heater, there was a fan inside since it was warmer temps (June) which is used. There’s a river across the street and waterfalls nearby. I had great cell service (AT&T) the entire time!

Beautiful rustic cabin along the river! Peaceful surroundings, a bit hard to find off the road (which is a good thing) and nice amenities like hot tub and grill. Our family had a great time enjoying Elkins and the Forest Festival hanging out with close relatives and friends! thanks Tiffany!
