This cottage has an absolutely amazing garden with lots of interesting features. I would have liked to know more about its history. Hot tub was wondery

What a beautiful spot! I really needed a “break from it all” and this cottage had it all. Clean, warm, cosy in an absolutely stunning location. Surrounded by green fields and trees, animals, lakes and beautiful gardens. The hot tub was just Devine, especially at night when the fairy lights came on. I’ve never felt so toasty- the underfloor heating was so effective, especially as we had a cold weekend weatherwise. Welshpool is a lovely town to visit and the local waterfalls are stunning. We had a great walk around Lake Vrynwy and the Giants Hand is a must see. Lovely to see the farm animals, and the added bonus was a secure paddock for the dogs to run in. Me and my partner really enjoyed this stay. It was a last minute booking for ourselves and Richard and Ceri were extremely attentive with their responses before and during our stay. The home itself was beautiful and was situated on a little farm. It was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Not to mention the hot tub behind the house which Richard and Ceri ensured was always at use for us! It was our first time visiting Ruthin and we enjoyed every moment. We would definitely recommend this stay to family friends or anyone wanting a relaxing couple of nights away.

Accomodation excellent, clean, very well presented and peaceful.

My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!

What a beautiful location! The property and surrounding gardens meant you didn’t need to leave. Great bbq for alfresco dining and lovely large hot tub. Care had been taken to make the property feel really homely. Jane and her friend Kathy were lovely, so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, the river was just lovely along with the views. Rooms were also very nice. We needed some help with the hot tub and Angela was very attentive and helped us as soon as we needed her :) Plenty of games provided and restaurant recommendations etc. Overall a lovely weekend would definitely recommend! <3

The stay with Jan & Richard was nothing short of exceptional! I have stayed at quite a few cottages/lodges especially in Wales with my border collie however, Belle Vue Cottage was by far the best! The views alone from your cottage & hot tub are sensational, very secluded & peaceful and the hot tub was amazing! The cottage has everything you need & Jan & Richard were super friendly & helpful listing all the amazing places to see nearby! There are so many amazing places nearby to see like the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall which has incredible views & is only a 15 minute drive. Also Llyn Vyrnwy Dam which is only a 20 minute drive with amazing views & is very close to the Rhiwagor Waterfall my favourite place to visit of the stay, the views are sensational & amazing for my collie who loved going for a swim! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or better hosts & I am already planning on visiting again soon! Thank you so much Rich & Jan for an incredible stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage had everything we needed and we appreciated the extra touches in the kitchen and bathroom. Trish was very welcoming and attentive. We would definitely return when visiting Cheshire.

Lock Cottage is a perfect place to stay, a beautiful, quiet location. The cottage is very comfortable, scrupulously clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the welcome pack. We hope to stay again.

What a lovely, clean, well maintained and special little place this cottage is, surrounded by fields, very secluded with the added little bonus of George the dog next door. (its very dog friendly).. Our hosts were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble, thank you both for a lovely time, we will certainly be booking again.. p.s. I think we may have packed George's dog bowl by mistake!! sorry :(

The cottage was easily located having been givenn not only the address but a what3words location and a pin dropped on Google Maps. It is a very cute period cottage but well renovated especially with a lovely recent bathroom and kitchen. With 2 cute, comfy bedrooms it was perfect for us and our son. The tight, steep staircase might phase some people but for us just added to the charm. There was a sun deck at the end of the garden that was lovely to end the day with beer looking over the fields. An enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is picturesque and peaceful. Cottage certainly met our expectations with a beautiful view and had every comfort for our short break. Recommend friendly pub very close by in the village.

Fantastic stay, out of the way and felt like we had un plugged which is exactly what we wanted, local knowledge in the guide was great and we had fantastic walks and views on our doorstep. Freshly made cake was also waiting for us when we arrived and Steve was a great host. Thankyou again

This is a beautiful place to stay and an excellent starting point for days out. Andrea is mostly round and about the site, and is only too willing to sort any questions that might arise. There's a bright comfortable feel to staying here. And as stated on the web, dogs are very welcome; with exceptionally scenic places for them to run or be walked. We loved our short stay.

This is a lovely comfortable, cozy cottage which makes you feel at home from the moment you enter, located in beautiful surroundings with some great food and drink locations and walks on your doorstep. Well worth a stay.

A lovely, modern yet homely cottage in a friendly neighbourhood in the centre of Llangollen. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars as well as the river and the start of a number of walking routes. Cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit Llangollen.

This is a beautiful property in a fantastic spot for Ludlow centre itself and also getting to all the many fabulous places to visit in the surrounding area. Rachel has created a very welcoming space and thought of everything. It’s extremely clean and comfortable. Parking is on the road outside and was never a problem. Rachel was very proactive as a host. We will be returning!

From start to finish, such a fabulous stay. Communication was excellent and the owners are helpful and interactive and also felt i had my privacy. The house is stunning and incredibly comfortable in every way. Has everything you need in the kitchen too. Eating my breakfast watching the blue tits nesting and listening to bird singing every morning was a joy I genuinely didnt want to leave i felt so relaxed and id definitely like to return and stay again . This was our first time in Ellesmere. Martin had created a detailed guide of things to do in the local and wider areas as well as all the regular information one may need for a stay, bins! Martin had thought of everything to make the experience smooth and homely. Property was well kept and lovely. We are keen cooks, the kitchen had everything we needed. So thank you. Highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to explore Shropshire.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cottage Farm. Penny was the perfect host and the accommodation & floral garden were beautifully peaceful and tucked away in exceptionally beautiful countryside. Welcomed with Penny’s introduction to her delightfully friendly Vallais blackface sheep and a sumptuous chocolate cake, it was special from the start. Great showers, cosy beds, and the whole place cleverly renovated. We slept well, luxuriated in the comfy sofas and enjoyed the sun streaming in to the kitchen. It was a great base for exploring locally and Penny tipped us off about a stunning local garden to visit. So much. Thank you indeed Penny!

This beautiful house was just like the pictures. We are a large family going to a local wedding in Wales, so did not utilise the amenities to their full potential. But had a relaxing time, in this very well equipped house.
